As in my current phone is a 930. Honestly waiting for a Surface Phone to drop at this point after the 950/XL announcement. It just seemed very underwhelming while presenting some interesting aspects like the screen continuum feature. A more polished version of that in a "surface phone" would be something I am willing to go to. At the end of the day all I use my phone for is phone stuff, internet stuff and twitter/Facebook.

Re: Digitally Downloaded: Nintendo is finally getting in the theme park game

Exclusive Amiibo.

Re:

However, I don't enjoy serious racing games as much as I used to anymore. I can appreciate (----my bad spelling of appreciate for some reason autocorrected to Apple Share. How random... but anyway) the end product and that it is a solid racing experience, I just find myself enjoying games like Horizon and wishing for more games which are about open roads and a dream car. Be it a car which you wish you had, or used to have, or never will have. That party atmosphere and the lifestyle which these games project seems more energetic and fun then what a serious racer provides. I guess I find myself thinking serious racers are very sterile experiences.

Re:

But it might be for the best, if it means they are abandoning the Maxis IPs for now. I honestly believe they don't know what they want to do with the IPs outside of trying to pull of "look at our fancy engine" and archaic game design practices designed at monetization strategies. Which is a shame, but its the truth. Its interesting that EA is also considering abandoning The Sims if The Sims 4 doesn't do well. Its a shame again, but if company is forcing toxic choices with a primitive view of monitisation and how to treat gamers it probably is for the best.

Re: Review: Life Is Strange: Episode 1 (Sony PlayStation 4) - Digitally Downloaded

Also I have to say I have some kind of weird "this reminds me of Another Code Wii" thing going on. I guess at the end of the day it comes down to the fact there isn't really much the same outside of the fact the protagonists are girls and live in some kind of lake side small town.

Re: Review: Life Is Strange: Episode 1 (Sony PlayStation 4) - Digitally Downloaded

For me the cliff hanger was more "this is the grand scheme of things you will learn about throughout the game". So in that sense it really felt like a prologue ending in some ways, but the story was overally contained. It doesn't help that a lot of things which will change the story aren't clear as the later episodes are not out to show how the structure will work, and the changes presented in just this story, with the main ones all having an outcome which seems satisfying enough for now.

Re: Review: Life Is Strange: Episode 1 (Sony PlayStation 4) - Digitally Downloaded

Also speaking about music https://play.spotify.com/us... Spotify playlist.

Re: Review: Life Is Strange: Episode 1 (Sony PlayStation 4) - Digitally Downloaded

Also the lightening at the beginning of the game is on verge on been the most realistic in game weather I have heard ever. It is just amazing. I also like that split second before the opening credits start when she puts on the earphones and it goes from nothing to static music to "BAM". The music and sound effects in this game are done quite well.
I agree on the disappointment the next one isn't out until March. However on the same token the ideas presented in this one did make it feel more like a prologue. Like it set characters and mechanics up rather then trying to drastically push you into a story. It isn't like D4 for example which hangs on a cliff hanger just as the action is getting good. The story is paced out well and isn't self contained, but has that direction and a clear scaling back at the end which makes elements you have experienced just click in your head. I can't wait for more however.
The problem with the developers previous title, which I did enjoy, it had a bunch of game design issues and the biggest been the title Remember Me, well no one remembers remember me, it was a self sabotaging title.

Re: Digitally Downloaded: Nintendo needs to start offering a subscription service, and soon

I've been wanting to see them move the Vitural Console service from a P2P platform to a subscription based service. At least one on the levels of PSN which a handful of titles from the library will be granted to subscribers each month. I don't think Nintendo is ready if they did want to do a subscription service in terms of rewarding gamers to have that offering extend to eShop new releases. But I do think maybe a % off would be a good insetive.
On that note however we might be close to seeing something at least in the reward offering area. With Wii U Preimum over, and Club Nintendo going as well as the launch of a new service soon there could be something which could present itself in a subscription manner for those rewards.

Re: The games of February; the lull is over - Digitally Downloaded

I know its episodic, but I feel like everyone is forgetting about Life is Strange, yes I know the first episode came out on Friday and isn't technically a Feb title. Its just its position at the end of the month has probably made it be missed by many. I recommend picking up the first episode if you want something to play now which looks like it will develop into a magical game.

Re: My 10 most played Nintendo 3DS games of 2014 - Digitally Downloaded

So fantasy football?

Re: My 10 most played Nintendo 3DS games of 2014 - Digitally Downloaded

And an Aussie one at that, its New! I haven't enjoyed anything in the series since AWL. I think my biggest disappointment in the recent titles was ToT having those vast areas, but they where empty and there was loading times for each of these sections which would last forever....and you would have to go through about three of them before you get to the task. So in my mind, a Harvest Moon game done by another developer could be a god send for the series. It will be interesting to see what the other title is like released from this legality mess. I think it is out now as well?

Re: DDNet Game of the Year Awards 2014!
