Princess Cara receives her dead biological fathers SSI retirement benefits every month until she is 18. We use that money for towards her college fund, tutoring/classes for her language delay, camp and anything that will help with her education or special stuff above and beyond we might not be able to afford ourselves. We continue to work as we see that as her money and use it for her benefit...and it wouldn't cover much to nothing in our household to keep either of us from working. I don't consider the benefits she is receiving as a "crazy check" but I suppose if I used her money to quit my job and live in the lap of luxury on that fat check, then maybe I would be considered the crazy one. If Cara got cut off, we would still go on, we would still work and no she would not find a job at 10 years old.

I am so sick an tired of the blatant disrespect shown to the President & First Lady. People think they can roll up on them, say anything demonstrating their lack of home training and then get all offended when they politely kick offender in the teeth. HUMPH. Ditto everything you advised. I was {{O_O}} when she threatened the dry cleaner lady. Your service to your country is greatly appreciated and remains of value. You can NOT afford to have her continue to roll up on base. What happens when she threatens an female officer or soldier? Mmmm Hmmm. That look is not going to go do well and NOT for you. As a former XO and Company Commander, I highly advise that you check that behavior and check in NOW before the MP's are involved in your business. Additionally, if she goes for full-metal jacket cray cray and accuses you of abuse/assault - you could end up losing rank, pay, have court marshall/Article 13 or worse -less than honorably discharged. Ain't nobody in our Armed Forces have time for all 'dat.

You have WAAAAYYY more to lose. Also, remember...if you marry her, she will get access to all of your benefits and depending on how long you put up with her brand of crazy, she could be entitled to your retirement AND get alimony. DEFINITLY don't have time for all 'dat. You have earned everything you have for your service. For the love of all that is Holy, don't throw it all down the drain for this drama.

I use the Sufferfest videos download on my computer - I'm sure you can get them on your iPad. Oh, you will suffer but the workouts are great and the time goes by quickly

I guess it's all relative. I have no injuries and in my wildest dreams wish for a 9:19/mi pace and I'm pretty damn fit. If VDOT and how fast you can do the test in is the measure of fitness...well, I best go back to square "effing" one of I don't know what or just quit cause I must not be doing something right. Looks like you have a great place to start for you to being a gazelle...and very fit.

I totally agree with you and your friend. While I was watching the the 2 episodes where Michonne was trying to convince Andrea about the shenanigans going on in Woodbury all I could think was she is going about it all wrong. She could have brought that whole town to its knees if she had gathered her evidence without all the skulking and sulking. Sip that damn tea, do your recon and bring back the dirt with a smile and a "I tolt ya". She had nothing but growls and accusations and Andrea wasn't interested in swinging the other way ~ shoot that nasty ho doesn't even wash - EVER ~ so why should she believe the ABW with a sword. You can catch a whole lot more flies (and cray-cray) with a bowl full of honey.

3. I'm not a Marine, but I was an Army Officer & am West Pointer (I have not taken down any Generals lately, so HURSH) - DUTY HONOR COUNTRY and she didn't embrace the any of that. Semper Fi ~ trust your instincts and move on to someone who also embraces your life, your philosophy, your character.

Congratulations on finding a keeper. That fact that you willing to figure out how to keep her is the first step to winning in love.

As a woman going on 25 years of marriage this June, I will confirm you assertion that "this is like work." except it's not "like" work - IT IS WORK. In my book, love is an action verb. It takes work and a daily decision. That decision/choice I make every single day is that no matter what; no matter that at that particular moment in time I might hate his guts - I CHOSE TO LOVE HIM.

My first bit of advice from your story...and I'd love to hear more as you evolve and go on this journey...is to stop this marathon arguing over petty stuff. STOP. If you can't communicate, negotiate & resolve something as simple as who is cleaning the kitchen tonight, what channel we are watching or who is getting up to get the remote then what are you going to do when it is something MAJOR like illness, infertility, child rearing or even the decision over split level or colonial style house.

Love, Honor, Cherish, Respect...COMMUNICATE!...and you will keep her.

So, now we got no baby daddy cause he's ghost. He is prolly gonna stay ghost and I wouldn't want the sucker back now for he has shown his true colors and what I would have to deal with. I'm having a baby - which is enough drama - don't need you to be crazy boyfriend too. What would I do? I would send him a certified letter about the blessed arrival and inform him that I would be seeking child support. I would NOT use txt, FB or anyother form or social media to discuss since I'm not going to argue with you in public about the paternity of our child. PERIOD. Got questions, see my attorney. I would put his name on the birth certificate. (I have had to deal w/this issue with Princess Cara and trying to get the SS/VA benefits from her recently deceased bio-dad and her bio-mom didn't put the bd's name on certif - MAJOR COMPLICATIONS). DO IT.
As soon as I had the little rug rat, I'd be marching off to court to get my baby de' monies. Just cause my mom n 'em are 'supporting' me does NOT mean that baby daddy gets a pass.

Is it too early for a cocktail?

Totally agree. There are always "signs". We have to be astute enough to bounce those signs up against our standards/requirements/goals and strong enough in our "I love ME most" belief to push away from the table, say "no more jello for me, mom." & roll out. Next.
