Wow! What an adventure! And yep, that honey baklava dessert was amaze-balls :) Glad you finally made it to our fine harbour city :) I'm currently in Bangkok, about to hit massive multi-countried theme mall Terminal 21 in Sukhumvit...there's even a Golden Gate bridge apparently!

Oh god - everything! But mostly that dress Kendall wears, with the black mesh/fishnet inserts; the dresses with the lace; the golden bustier; the boots and bags - but not the shorts.

Agreed - some hair colours need really pale complexions, or conversely, tan ones, to look their best. My site is up and running - trashtastika.com. But I've only just started writing regularly, setting up social media links yadda yadda. I do need to have a launch giveaway comp like yourself, I think!

I totally know what you mean, and you express it well - I remember back in the 90's when I first went an unnatural colour, how it felt, coming home to myself. I also remember when I first knew you and I had screaming coloured hair (blue or purple, can't remember), and you had normal hair and said you were scared you'd ruin your hair if you bleached it. SO glad you made the jump! Many others have in the past few years, I'm glad to see, not just goths and other fringe weirdo's like myself!!

LOVE the new site by the way! I've also gone the route of a new blog with a new name..but not really launched it yet. I have had grey hair before...but the only problem for me is...being slightly older, I have to be careful as it does look like the hair might be genuinely grey, instead of dyed-trendy-grey! I'm currently sporting a mid-neon-mint colour :)

We loved this store when we were there too - but I didn't know it had its own spin off series! We also got to meet Mike Zohn this time around when we were in New York - boy, that man knows a LOT of stuff! And yeah, we had to buy a little bat in acrylic to take home(which held us up in Sydney customs a while...)

Yeah, found J-town a bit of a yawn. But loved all the Taxidermy/Oddities shops like Loved to Death, and like you, the only store in Haight district I liked was the steampunk/cyber/goth shop. I have to say I've become OBSESSED with the post-apocalyptic fashion of labels such as Demobaza, SkinGraft, Mother of London and Gelareh, which Ceiba SF stocks.(I even started a pinterest board http://www.pinterest.com/tr...

We LOVED the cebicheria La Mar - best cerviche evar!! So thanks for that recommendation :)

We went to the 80's night on Thursday night at the Cat Club - dark alt music was on at the back, as well as Dark Shadows on the Friday night. Both really fun!!

Hey! I'm heading to San Fran for the first time in July! I must keep an eye on the tips people give you on alt places to see/go. Hoping to stay in the Lower Haight which is supposed to be the punk/alternative neighbourhood there :)

I LOVED the outfits I saw when I attended the event before this one (I was there last November) - but I was too chicken to ask people if I could take their photos! Next time... I'm just in awe at how wonderfully the alt fashionistas make each sub-culture their own :)

Yeah, that was shocking, wasn't it? It was one of those brands you thought would go on forever. But it seems that many of his other brands remain intact - h.Naoto, Sixh, Anarchy, Blood, Hangry & Angry, Gouk, Gramm, Ibi etc, so that's something ;)

I never thought you'd do pink ;) But it looks lovely on you :)

I've had many colour combo's over the years, starting with blonde and bright red and then from 2003 the more alternative colours such as blue, purple, green, orange, & even fluoro yellow recently (but only my shaved side bit!) At the moment I have more of my natural dark hair than I've had in years...I think it's good every few years to take a break and let the bleach grow out. As for fashion I"ve tried...don't get me started!

I always put mine in at the last minute too - not least because I'm -2 prescription, and need the lenses for long distance - so wouldn't be able to see close-up to do my make-up!

No I didn't recognize any characters, as I'm not into comics & manga's. I may be back in Tokyo myself in mid march....maybe see you at a club! I'd like to see some dog cafes as the cat ones have been done to death and I'm a dog lover! I could only find ones that allow you to bring your dog, not ones that have them for you to play with. So if you could find one -yippee!
