If it's hormonal, no amount of topical cleansers will do a damn thing. My dermatologist had me switch to a BC pill (To Yasmin) and add Spironolactone as well. I have PCOS, messes up a whole bunch of stuff, so I also take Glucophage to help with this as well. The difference in my skin is night and day with pills vs. without. Bottom line: No matter what you do, if its an internal problem, you need an internal solution.
