There is nothing judgemental about the Tough Love approach. Our boys had to own up to all their irresponsible behavior as they were taught a healthy fear (RESPECT) for God, Life, and responsiblity to our community. Like Bill Cummings said there is no room on these narrow 2 lane roads for error if you don't get( it ) then you should not drive that is just a given defensive driving skill. I know that whatever happens to the young men involved in this horrific tragedy it won't even come close to what my husband and I would have expected as a Tough LOVE consequence for our kids now grown with their own families. They would have wished that those who want the easy road and out would of been up in charge of them. We were not spared being sick to our stomaches and grieving the victims and the emergency personal who had to see the side of it only described to me. My kids would have had to take a good look at what they did and we as parents could not live with ourselves for a very long time. These are only our personal thoughts and perhaps a very diffrent way that we raised our kids...Tough Love yes it's alot of work but thank the good Lord it paid off we served our time working with them and their friends and I hope our community appreciates parents that take responsiblities and not the slap on the wrist given out here most of the time. Each family raises their kids diffentley, but out of Love for your child let them learn what awaits them in the real world.

Re: Send us your heatwave photos! - Islands' Sounder

Those photo's were taken by George Willis not anyone else...and myself Anne Willis..
