Although I agree that these guys are some of the funniest comedians and comic actors ever, you need to specify that it's American comedians and comic actors you're talking about. Otherwise, you'd need to add people like Peter Sellers, Rowan Atkinson, John Cleese, Kenneth Williams, and so on.

As a married man, I look at these women and all I see is 3+ hours to get ready, not being allowed to touch the hair / makeup / dress for fear of ruining it, lots of drama, followed by a day of complaining at home about how much her feet hurt from wearing those shoes all night.

I live an hour north of Toronto, and we calculated that for our family of four, it would be cheaper to drive to Columbus, Ohio, stay overnight in a hotel, and get four seats within the first 12 rows near centre ice than to go to a Leafs game for mediocre seats. That's considering the exchange rate as well.

Good call. I like to show my grade 7 and 8 students The Chive Charities, and impress upon them the idea that a small action, when done with many other small actions, can become something beyond huge. I show the stories, we discuss them, but I can't scroll down to the comments because of the trolls. All my positive efforts and change-the-world teaching can be undermined when motivated kids see just how hateful and cruel some people can be. They lose faith that they can make a positive difference.

As a parent, I can tell you that white living spaces like this are perfect for people who don't have children. To kids, all that white is just a blank canvas waiting to be filled in with artwork, foods, and bodily wastes.
