However, this didn't solve my original problem.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My problem was that the player guessed the wrong duration of the track and never really bothered to recalculate, so of course the song either ended prematurely og just didn't play at all. I assumed moving the "moov" atom before the "mdat" would solve this, but no, it never did.
