It was great to read a positive commentary on aging, especially from a woman. Too often women are made to feel paranoid as if certain things are closed off to them once they hit a milestone year. This is simply not true.

Matches up with my personal opinion. A presidential candidate needs to be many things - but certainly one of the most telling character traits would be that he/she has shown themself to be fair and measured in their approach to conflict. Anyone who is that grossly obese has serious issues with self control, and what we are all witnessing here is how that lack of self control continuously spills over into his public life. It's not about his weight - it's about his character.

I disagree with just about everything in your review. I love Amy Schumer so I was anticipating a particularly funny show - but was really disappointed. The cold open set the flat unfunny tone right off the bat because no matter how many times we're forced to endure Bobby Moynihan's one note shtick (consisting mostly of grimacing) the dude simply isnt funny - period. Amy's monologue started off promising but even she failed to complete the pass - she touched on a number of great topics that could've been hilarious had she expanded a bit more (Kardashians, meeting celebs like Bradley Cooper now that she's one herself, etc) but she too quickly veered off into another subject. But what could've just been a rare "off" night for Amy can't be said the same for the SNL writers. Has Lorne Michaels passed the baton & become too removed from SNL's critical decisions in hiring of writing and comedic talent? This is the creme de la creme of comedy writing gigs, people - and the current crop of writers are missing a serious component - a funny bone!

Does CCP have a right to carry concealed weapon policy? I don't think any college, university or school should allow this, for the safety of all students, faculty and staff. When they do, everyday scenarios of (as an example) students not receiving enough financial aid, or a student disputing a grade with a faculty member, etc. all have potential to become deadly.

Cannot abide Glenn's fixed awkward stares, always looks as if he's forgotten his lines. I almost turned the channel when he went in for the kiss with Betty. Couldn't stand Richard either (another new character at the midnight hour??) he isn't man enough for Joan, and he's a selfish SOB to boot.
