I understand the thinking by Lionsgate, but if you want someone from Twilight, I think that Kellan Lutz might be a better choice. I just don't think that Pattinson is athletic enough.

Re: Potential

Congratulations! The thing is, you may be understating the number people who want to follow brands and be actively marketed to. The number is somewhere north of 60%. Just a statement.

That being said, I do feel honored to not be in that douchey category. But systems cannot remain free forever. Google built a great search engine and an even better advertising model that is based on all your data. Same with every other website ever.

Re: An update

You are a champion of ankle spraining and complaining when you're sick.

Re: A Night with The Civil Wars

Fantastic review. I got to attend the show as well and it was every bit as amazing as you describe. I actually caught Joy talking about how The Civil Wars came to be (and their subsequent performance of "Falling" on my camera. http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: http://chimpotle.com/post/4440916553

Fair enough.

Re: http://chimpotle.com/post/4440916553

I'm not entirely certain where it all goes wrong, but Firehouse is only a step above Jimmy John's in my opinion. There is absolutely a place for classes and education for social media beginners. However, I think Shea's issue (see how I am speaking for her here?) is with opportunists who are cashing in on the new hot term of the week and positioning themselves as experts when anyone who works in the field (you, me and Shea included) knows that there is no such thing as an expert in an industry that didn't exist 5 years ago and changes literally everyday. However, for the layman who needs the beginning classes, those opportunists with "Social Media Expert or Guru or Ninja" on their business card are bad news. I've been to a lot of seminars and conferences where the topic has come up.

Ultimately, my master class would read like this: "Don't be an idiot." THE END.

And seriously...you have to admit that "ambulance chasers of the internet"...that was an awesome line.

Re: A rant.

Maybe one of my favorite posts ever.

Re: SHOW ME YOUR APPS! And yet the transplant to Chicago works really well for two reasons:

1) John Cusack totally nails Rob, and
2) Jack Black.

The book is phenomenal. One of my Top 5 Desert Island books.

Re: http://kctype.com/post/807906578

It is at about 83rd and Metcalf.

Re: Rumor: ABC To Reboot JJ Abrams’ Alias?!

The cliffhanger at the end of Season 2 is the cliffhanger that I measure all other cliffhangers against.

Re: Rumor: ABC To Reboot JJ Abrams’ Alias?!

I completely agree.
