<rss xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0"><channel><title>Disqus - Latest Comments for tonyjt</title><link>http://disqus.com/by/tonyjt/</link><description></description><atom:link href="http://disqus.com/tonyjt/comments.rss" rel="self"></atom:link><language>en</language><lastBuildDate>Tue, 14 Jul 2009 17:35:41 -0000</lastBuildDate><item><title>Re: FedEx to Congress: 'Let us keep blocking the unions or Boeing gets it'</title><link>http://ucsense.blogspot.com/2009/03/fedex-to-congress-let-us-keep-blocking.html#comment-12653228</link><description>&lt;p&gt;FedEx is the only company in the transportation industry with drivers, package handlers, and other non-airline employees covered by the Railway Labor Act.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Bailout? lol&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;UPS is the strongest company in it's industry and is not seeking a "BAILOUT" from Congress....the company is working to eliminate the advantage given ONLY to FedEx.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It does not mean FEDEX will become unionized, that would be up to them.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When Fedex delivers a package to your door it is not delivered by a pilot of an airplane, the package must be placed on the truck and delivered by a driver to your door.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Fedex should fall under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) as does all other commercial drivers in the US... ALL COMMERCIAL DRIVERS, not just UPS. This is not just about FEDEX and UPS.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">tonyjt</dc:creator><pubDate>Tue, 14 Jul 2009 17:35:41 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
