You appear to be missing several braces (e.g. the if statement, opens a brace but never closes it). You cannot do string.IsNullOrEmpty(value) because value is an object, not a string - so you must cast it with a ToString() call.

Other than that, once I'd fixed the compiler issues it worked. Thanks.

Re: Mapping but not exposing ICollections in Entity Framework

Hi Owen, I'm trying to implement this but C# refuses to let me use "private virtual"... Please could you elaborate on how this has been done?

Re: OS X 10.6.7 Changes Finder Sidebar Behavior

"I never thought Apple would change Finder's code."

Dumbest statement ever...?

Re: New Project: RPG Machine

Sounds interesting, though I'm not entirely sure what your plans are yet, but it sounds to me like it's going to be a text-based RPG but with a flashy UI?

If so, I have quite a bit of experience in making text-based browser RPGs (back-end stuff, PHP/MySQL). Been making them since I was 13 as an alternative to graphical games (Which I had no clue how to make back then!) and still fiddle around with old code now and again. So if you need any help, give me a shout!

Re: Customized MacBook has a screen inside the Apple logo

That's absolutely amazing! I would have loved to have seen instructions on how he managed to do that. Just imagine the looks you would get when your Apple logo starts displaying video!

Re: 60+ Free Vectors Icons for Web Designers

Awesome collection of vector graphics. I will definitely be making use of some of these!

Thanks!

Re: More Gannett Cuts: Des Moines Register and Courier-Journal

Redundancy is becoming a sad but true thing for so many people lately. Why shouldn't companies be able to benefit from it as well?

I could sense it was fake, but it was brilliantly done and a great idea.
