I agree with you long term. However, It's not real clear to me over the short to intermediate term.....appears to have found some support at the R/S.

Thanks for the info on the options....sold my WYNN puts today up 100%. I don't know why I've avoided them in the past.

I didn't find much "fresh," but I posted a few "long shot" setups.

Thanks for the charts. They all look good, but I'm taking a particular interest in the CLX setup. It's toast long term. Unfortunately, I was short CRM in the not so distant past but covered wayyyy too soon. Oh well....live to trade another day.

I found a few new setups over the weekend that may be good for an idea or two.

It could be a possible double bottom if you consider the low in September 2007, but I personally think there are better risk/reward setups out there. Plus, I've never had much success trading around these runaway gaps over the short term after they occur. Just my personal opinion. Good luck.

You might look at DGP...double gold ETF nearing possible double bottom. PAAS and SIL are at support and BVN isn't far away from it. It should be an interesting week.

Shorts.....KBE, IYR, BBT, TSCO, CEPH, CERN, ABT, HCC, WTNY, COST etc etc
Longs.....PAAS, BVN, QBC, ALTH, AMRI, USPH, CSCX, SPF etc etc

I'll stare a bull and a bear down any day of the week. I'm 400 miles from the coast, and this weather scares me stiff.

I understand your question and realize the textbook definition says a "pullback" to the neckline rarely occurs. However, I've seen too many push above it to....say another resistance level (a MA or a trendline).....before resuming its move lower. Of course, I'm wrong more often than not and will likely be with this one, but I'll still be foaming at the mouth if it pops up to the $69.00 area.

Tim - I find myself agreeing with the point you make in your post. Although I suspect #2 will hold true, I sincerely hope it doesn't. The U.S. is still the one and only superpower today, and can't be contested by anyone on earth. I can't even imagine a combination of nations that might offer us a challenge....not yet anyway.

As far as the charts are concerned, there are still way too many that appear ready to roll over. I found an abundance of clean setups......long & short.
