I do that regularly and it's always nice to put in pictures of colleagues and customers in a report-out of the event. Pictures of people is what grabs people's attention.

Re: How to scale an image to full-size in PowerPoint

An easy way to avoid stretching or squeezing is to keep the "control" button pressed while enlarging or reducing the picture size with the mouse.

Re: Keeping titles readable over busy images

Nicely done! I recognize the problem and was never able to find a good solution. Usually I put a semi-transparent box behind my text, but this looks much cooler.

Re: 6 suggestions for designers to increase their Return On Time

I recognize this problem but I was never able to articulate it, so thanks for this post. I have this problem with my superiors, who like to frequently interrupt with phonecalls or walk-by's, and who like many progress reviews even when I'm in the middle of the problem solving. "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell also nicely describes this problem. He had the example of an army lieutenant phoning up his sergeant immediately when something was going on. The sergeant - who was on the ground trying to deal with the enemy (problem solving) - would then have to divert his attention to answering questions from his boss and making up answers on the spot just to get rid of him.

An even worse problem is that - apart from my 'make' activities - I also have to manage a lot of other activities, so I need to interrupt myself to be following up and convening with my direct reports or other colleagues.
