The timing might have been unfortunate on a few things - that really is no apology though, hackers never sleep. Granted, it happened while you were still in beta.

Pressing charges - well, I would keep it at this. As bad as their behavior was, I think you guys can equally be blamed for making some serious mistakes. Elliot is 16 after all, give him a break.

All in all, I think you handled the situation, and I hope it opened your eyes for the future. I will certainly continue using PHPFog and I am happy this happened now and not later.
