The small USB receiver works much better when compared to bluetooth, but sadly the MX Master 3 still has a USB-A receiver, so it's not such a good combo with Macbooks anymore.

Where is the USB-C Unifying receiver? Spec list says the receiver is still USB-A which is just stupid.

That's a myth that has been debunked several times.

It also doesn't explain why my kids are so tall, while my parents were born before the 60s and I was born in the 80s and my kids in the 00s.

This is an opinion that's not at all based on facts. Until 1980, the use of growth hormones, both endogenous and exogenous,
was completely prohibited in Italy, Denmark, the
Netherlands, and Greece. The use of growth hormones was particularly common in the U.K., where beef production was heavily industrialized.

The scientific evidence for health risks associated with the use of
growth hormones in meat production was, at best, scant. However,
consumer lobbyist groups were far more able to successfully influence
the European Parliament to enact regulations in the 1980s than producer lobbyist groups were,
and had far more influence over public perceptions. This is in contrast
with the US at the time, where there was little interest from consumer
organizations in the subject prior to the 1980s, and regulations were
driven by a well-organized coalition of export-oriented industry and
farming interests, who were only opposed by traditional farming groups.

The EU even went so far as to completely ban import of US beef.

So why aren't Americans taller?

I disagree completely. The best web developers I know are also quite good at design. And the best designers I know also know how to code. The world isn't all black and white you know.

I hate it when something expands and it drops (and reflows) all content below it. Another solution (on desktops) would be to load the content as a sidenote. We have widescreen monitors, let's use them.

As a webmaster I'm a bit frustrated by the fact that I'm not seeing Google Adsense ads in my website. It seems that Microsoft is either actively blocking Adsense or that Google is just neglecting the Windows Phone platform at all. But if it's Microsoft that blocks Adsense, Google's move to block more services on Windows Phone doesn't seem strange at all.

Press yes, ads no. The press gives Apple a lot of attention, and of course the retailers have their ads, but there's no official Apple advertising like you have in the US.

I think Gruber has critized Apple a lot this year. He also points out the things other companies are doing better then Apple.

I am not an Apple fanatic but I read his blog with pleasure. Like him I appreciate quality, even if it means the vendor is trying to lock me in.

I've never seen an official Apple ad here in the Netherlands, yet the phones, tablets and apps are selling like hotcakes. This shows that if your product is good, ads can be completely unnecessary.

In the netherlands you can get 60mbit internet, ip telephony and 90 tv channels (including HD and a free DVR) for around €50. I know we're a small country, but come on. Sometimes a little government interference does wonderous things for consumers.

Oh, and should I mention we have great health care too? :-)

I don't think it's a resolution issue. Javascript performance on the ipad is highly unoptimized. Should change with the iOS 4 update.
