I am crying right now. Your post brings back memories of when we flew into BWI at 11pm at night and were greeted the same way. With hugs, thank yous and claps. It was such an amazing thing to experience. I was in awe. Then our hotel shuttle driver refused my tip as a thank you as well. It was such a great thing to go through.

Oh how fun! We use to visit Nevada City a lot when I was a kid and Ben and I even debated moving close to there when we were 1st married :)

Sounds like you have a lot of cool things going on. Maybe you could blog about how you have made it through many years as a military spouse? I know it helps me to hear from wives who have been doing this longer thanI have :)

LOVE your pictures! I have a hard time with it getting dark so early in the winter but it was nice having it not get dark until late late in the summer.

I was never going to drive on the Autobahn either and then I got back from a Space-A flight and it was really the only option. I ended up enjoying it somewhat.

I am glad I am not the only one not going to Blissdom that lives close. We are 45 mins away but with a new baby and a husband about to leave, it just wasn't a good time.
