The first time I got some PT that year I was chosen to kick a PK that would give us the lead. My first shot I kicked right at the goalie, the rebound I kicked right at the goalie, that rebound ended up being put in the net by an older teammate. He didn't say anything to me after, just patted me on the back and gave me the "shit happens" look.

your story reminded me of my own. Albeit on an incredibly smaller and much less significant scale than yours haha.

Re: Shaving Revisited

Dude, Gillete randomly sent me one of these in the mail on my bday. That's when I was 18. 23 Now, and my metallic little side kick is still kickin'. I have been reading recently though that using a double edged razor and a shaving brush are supposedly "the best" you can get, in terms of shaving.

Re: Another Forever Thing

Ah, I never took my soccer career to the collegiate level. I went to a D1 school, and I doubt I could have played consistently at that level, but I remember I'd play pick games with some of the kids on the team though. Their game was on an entirely different level. It's amazing the friendships and bonds created from such a simple game.

Re: Where Are The Male Bloggers?

I'm fairly new to blogging experience and I do notice that my reader is slightly inundated with female blogs. What I notice about a lot of these female blogs I read, is that they are great conversationalists. It's not they are overly personal, it's that they make great connections and aren't just stating topics. I think a lot of guys, especially on 20sb have great potential to write personably, which makes finding these blogs all the better.

Re: Ode To A Community

The music in the background was money, it made the whole thing much more sincere. I'm still new to this community, but it's been a great experience. I can't imagine going through the blogosphere without it.
