The school bond election shows how much the ridge could control votes- first run- and how they can be outnumbered by the people living in the whole of the valley. I only wish we could make some changes in the city council and mayor postion in Snoqualmie. One face from the valley is on the city council and a yes man like the rest. Who needs the ridge but the folks living there and they have a great cookie cutter development which does not fill the valley image. When the city council has run out all the business in little Snoqualmie remember it is not that far to Notrh Bend. The ridge can live without the valley and that is good by me.

Oh great now we have a parking problem with our dear politicians who should be parking on the ridge where their loyalties are known. I live a half block from this fiasco and if they park in front of my house where am I going to park, This is another bonehead decision of Larson- keep the ridge rats on the ridge, If you or I were to build a building in Snoqualmie we would have to have enough parking for the building on site- what goes on with the parking issue? Street parking belongs to the neighborhood. If the parking creates a problem the red flags will go up and we can find out how they got permitted for not enough parking for their staff who they knew the number of before they built the Larson Shrine. Politicians on church property sounds good to me however it shows what a bunch of idiots we have running our city. Will the rec center have enough parking our will they have a bus to take them from the church. Why cant Obama take Larson under his wing and make him a human drone and send him to another country to foul up their normal lives- What a mess. The city buildings sitting empty will do us a lot of good- not- Larson keeps digging his hole deeper and deeper- the council needs to stand up and fight against the mayor not be yes people for his follies,

We said no to Larsons ridge rec center more than once and he is doing it anyway- 1-1033 is not that hard on the taxpayers pocketbook but makes government have to plan and budget. Mr. Larson did not let the votes against the ridge rec center stop his progress and I am suprised he would try to convince anyone that Eyman could stop his progress or his lack of regard for our votes- vote the way you want and take the time to study Eymans initiative before believing Larson-

I have lived in the valley for over fourty years and enjoyed George Senior but junior is a Wyrch of a different color- I have never supported his high priced products and his better than thow attitude- if he gets his hotel I can only wish him the worst of luck which should be no problem in this econonmy- is it in writing how soon he must start the project or can he hang on and try to sell the property- It is a poor spot for the hotel and it will likely not do as well as planned- I doubt he will build it and own it but will try to sell or to partner it out. One thing for sure he likes to monopolize business but hotels and gas stations are a different story and he may stub his toe on this one. Once it is all settled and over I have no intention of supporting any of his activties and I to will resign from his ideas which have always been George first and the valley second. In the hotel business he will be playing with the big boys and if the casino gets its feet on the ground and builds theirs dear George will have a lot of empty rooms to try to fill and a good tax base for North Bend. He has shown by his choice of a building site that he does not care for his neighbors only his pocketbook. Now the city council can decide if the dollar is worh more than their neighbors and the people they claim to represent. North Bend city council let this one die as in the past because that is the right thing to do.

well here we go again- stay tuned and read the fine print- it seems the shool board has a short memory on how the valley votes- they are asking for less money only more often- it stll all adds up and keeping our taxes paid in these times is tough enough so we learn to live on our own budgets and vote with our pocketbooks. It will be interesting to see how it is presented to the taxpayers.

georgie poorgie will not see the end of this even if the city fathers give him their blessing as lawsuits and zoning issues could delay this a long time- do not trust him- nor the city fathers if they make a poor choice and approve a project so close to residents children and homes- if you think about it you know it does not belong in that spot- I hope it somehow gets stopped.

This is the type of tax that the Larson group will be looking toward- a tax we cannot vote on- keep an eye on these people and hope that some of the council break away from being Larson's followers to leaders for the valley- case and point the Larson Community center which he refuses to give up on- we are voters so when the time comes remeber who to put out of work.

No fooling Mr. Larson we all need to live within our means- pull back and wait until things improve- no more rec center or projects that can wait- bring things to a vote and the no's will appear- this school bond was a patch that was a desparate need not a sign that we want any more on the menu. Mr. Larson does not believe in the vote of the people so he is taking it up on himself to find a way to get what the majority of the people do not want- a rec center on the ridge- I cannot wait to get my chance to show this person what a vote means if he runs for election again. These are tough times and we need a mayor who understands that money is tight and jobs have been lost. Someone on this council needs to stand up and fight against this mayor and his behind the scenes plans. He is a tax creator and that is exactly what this town of Snoqualmie does not need. Things can wait until the economy changes or bring issues to the voters- we did quite well without Mr Larson and the valley needs a consevative approach to issues and ideas.

This is good news as we have seen taxes on our homes increase up to 45 percent- a new school levy on the horizon- Does Mr. Larson know that there is a recession going on? Failure of this bond is tax relief for the valley. He states it will cost more if we do not build it now but only if it passes. How many times must we say no? If it comes back just say no- In fact tell him yourself that we do not need the Larson Spa. May need a food bank at the ridge by all the for sale signs posted. This time even the ridge voted heavily against the spa.

this is a tax we have a choice on- property taxes no- a lot of people are having trouble making ends meet and have been hit with property taxes with increases up to 50 percent- this is a tax you can stop- just vote no- who cares if you are a them or an us. And do not forget the upcoming school bond in March- you have a choice there as well. If the smart thems and us,es get together we can stop this waiste of money in times when money is hard to save or come by. The rec center is a luxury tax and a product that quite frankly we can do without. Vote No

Snoqualmie Ridge Rec Center-- having been hit by high property taxes that we had no contro over and an economy on the slide it is stiil your chance to vote this tax down by just saying no. In March we will be looking at a new school levy that needs more attention than this ten million dollar play pen. A lot of people are having hard times and could not leave or sell their homes in the valley to escape the high real estate taxes- up as much as fifty percent. The word is out we are sick of unecessary taxes- the rec center is one tax we can stop dead in its tracks.
