'I stand corrected. DOUBLE DRAGON and STREET FIGHTER were both released the previous year. There was also SUPER MARIO BROS. in '93.' its no wonder you forgot Mark, those are three of the worst movies of all time. lol. man id forgotten all those movies released so close together. i remember thinking theyd never make another video game movie again after those three turds. no wonder Mortal Kombat had so much impact, it wasnt pure crap. lol. and it had some good fight scenes

that is one suspect list. DOA was god awful, Volcano High wasnt that good, Versus is overrated in my book. i didnt really like it, and the One is just ok. people have already listed a crapload of movies that should have been on the list like Kung Fu Hustle and Fearless. but i guess it is just the writers opinion. he should visit this site more. lol

as long as its rated R it has a chance. i guess youre right people expect nothing from fighting game movies and they still manage to mess them up. anybody remember the live action Mortal Kombat television show? it was actually pretty decent. the fight sscenes were great plus it had TONS of T and A. lol

same here. this movie was completely unwatchable, even as a kid. i think most Turtles fans hate it with a passion. i know me and all my buddies do. and youre right about the completely laughable costumes. just hideous. this movie pretty much killed the franchise for years. lol

man this movie did not age well. i tried to watch it a few days ago and barely made it thru it. lol. i remember being so disapointed in this movie when it came out. and i was a huge Turtles fan. i didnt find the jokes funny at all, the action was terrible, everybody acted retarded, Tokka and Rahzar sucked balls, and the only Turtle that used his weapon was Donatello, my least favorite. and the Vanilla Ice thing was cheesy even back then. Ernie Reyes was probably the best part of the whole flick. i was around 14 at the time and i think the movie was aimed at the 5 - 10 year old crowd. after the awesomeness of the first movie the tone of the sequel was pretty jarring.

i like Matt Mullins alot. he had a few fight scenes on Kamen Rider Dragon Knight that were awesome and thats just a kids show. he definately deserves more screen time. hopefully he gets some exposure from Dragon Knight and keeps doing roles like in Blood and Bone. he,ll get a chance eventually.

wow. im definately seeing this now. i know Mark had been skeptical of the movie for a while and if it got 4 stars from him its got to be good. good to hear that Rain did a good job in the film. well lets hope the movie is successfull which i think it will be after being bombarded with Ninja Assassin commercials for the last few weeks. then they can fix the flaws in the sequel or hopefully sequels. overall it sounds like the movie was a fun enjoyable experiance and thats all that really matters.

yeah, hes definately taking less of a risk than Rampage Jackson. and im impressed by the fact that hes doing real Asian movies. he seems like hes made for Hollywood. i just dont want him to slack of on his fighting and think he can just jump back in the ring and woop people like he never left. like you said hes been very smart about this so i doubt that will happen. as long as he remembers what happened to Antonio Tarver after he did Rocky he should be ok.

oh Cung. when are you gonna realise its not the 80s anymore? it seems like hes putting his fighting career on hold to play some bit parts and star in a few direct to video flicks. i hope hes making the right decision because he had a ton of potential as far as MMA goes. i know he said hes not quitting but he hasnt fought in a long time and he was still a work in progress. i wish him the best regardless.

i agree with Mark. id rather see him do a movie with a Donnie Yen or Lee Wu Ping before he does something in America. its getting harder and harder to make a splash in America as an action movie star. martial arts or otherwise.

is it really that hard to beleive someone wouldnt like The Guyver 2? maybe it was because i was a HUGE fan of the anime, which the movies pretty much completely ignored. Dark Hero was definately better than the first one but i never really liked either. i,ll check it out again when i get the chance. and The Perfect weapon definately should have made the list. it fit the criteria, no plot, awesome fights. lol

nice list. King of the Kickboxers is one of my favorites and Drive is an awesome movie. i gotta say i dont know how that Guyver movie made the list. i hated it with a passion. lol. maybe i,ll try to watch it again but i hated it the first 2 times. haha

didnt know Thuy Trang died. i honestly wonder how kids will react to the original Rangers. they were pretty damn cheesy and corny even to a kid. only reason me and my buddies watched was because the Pink and Yellow Rangers were hot. lol. and i guess the Red Ranger was pretty bad ass. Bulk and Skull pretty much killed it for me. haha

well, CHUD gave the movie a bad review too so thats not helping. Im still looking forward to seeing it but im not expecting much. id just settle for a few good action scenes. sigh.

haha. i still want to see this movie, but not as much as before. i can deal with the CG but people are saying the movies too dark and i hate that. my expectations have officially been lowered. haha
