First, the principal is clearly an idiot. Second, the kids wearing the flag as a shirt should learn the flag code. Use of the United States flag on clothing by anyone other than military or emergency personnel is NOT patriotic, it is disrespectful to all those who have defended it. People who wear Old Navy shirts, I'm talking to you. How about the Old Navy flip-flops I saw one time that had the flag on the outsole? Walking on the flag eh?

My outrage is obviously along much different lines from most on this forum. I'm just a stickler for the Flag Code.

Oh it's pretty readily available. The Sloe Gin doesn't REALLY drastically change the flavor. It does change the color and makes the name rather silly. :-D

yeah that's the popular opinion at work....because if they leave with an unopened bottle, we have just sold them beer "to go" which is a violation of our particular license. If they walk out with an open beer, they are in violation of the open container law and that's THEIR problem not ours.
