Poor Sky. I wish she had thought of a different route. She spends the night at my house most weekends and is a sweet, gentle girl. Her and my daughter are friends. I wish I would of known she felt threatened and afraid. I would of helped her. I would of given her advice. The bottom line is she is only 15 and was afraid and in fear. She made a stupid decision in trying to defend herself with a knife. I don't understand why. But to ridicule a 15 year old online...Jesus...maybe this is why she felt she needed to protect herself. Because the world is filled with jacka**e* like most of you all.

Sounds like he might of had DKA. Extremely high blood sugars cause vomiting. Poor guy!!

My son was diagnosed with T1 @ 3 years old. He entered the pre-k program at Lively @ 4 & they were wonderful!! This is horrible! Why should a child be turned away because of a disease he can't control!?? They have to have a school nurse anyways so what's the problem with the parent coming in to instruct the nurse on how to care for their child?? I would be livid!! Thankfully, my son is now 10 & he has had great school nurses all his life!!
