I wouldn't know, are you saying they buy Nokia handsets and mod them,
then sell them?

Considering that there are no devices to do testing on I'm not really
surprised that some of them look really bad. This contest was more
about creating an idea for an application than anything else really,
good UI takes time.

We will see what happens by the end of the challenge and by the end of
the year when we'll be able to purchase Android devices.

Re: Provoke Design, a Finnish based design house that Nokia has contracted in the past, has created 3 concept phones of what they think will be available in 2012.

Is he really? I mean at some level he makes a point, Apple does a
brilliant job at making developers drool and some of that enthusiasm,
whether it is understood by consumers or not, leaks into excitement by
the masses.

Some marketing campaigns are just ... well don't make sense really.
The open to anything site he mentions in particular is one of those
that just makes me scratch my head and ask "What's the point?"
