For me it is very interesting that Bitcoin Unlimited have received less than 2 BTC in donations, and the suddenly receives $500.000 (750BTC) during a few hours and then nothing. A clear indication of just one contributor - and then: The Bitcoin Unlimited Articles has provision for the organization to register as a non-profit and enjoy tax-exempt status for its activities. Very nice way of white washing money

And worst of all the person trying to mix the coins did a very bad job, as the money was move thru all the wallets in a so short period, that it only is possible if the same person controls the wallets

This is not mixing, its just moved and very simple to trace. Using a real mixer the transaction should disintegrate into 1000 transactions

On kraken more than 10.000$ was stolen and thats only the 5 of many incidents I know of. My guess is a lot more

I my case the robber logged in, and changed the 2FA I had activated on trading. Then used all my dollars to buy ETH and sent that and the ETH I had to an external wallet. All within 5 minutes. I was driving in France and just saw the mail after 30 mins. I had not used the userid/password on other exchanges, and know my pc is not compromised. What really surprised me that Kraken does allow change of 2FA without using 2FA, and secondly allow withdrawals without any extra check like locked wallet, email-confirmation, IP-restrictions or 2FA.
The Kraken security is so bad implemented, that I am missing words.
Unfortunately I had not made any withdrawals, so I didn't know.
Worst of all was to see my almost 500 ETH sitting in the new wallet for 6 days, before seeing it being traded at shapeshift yesterday, and knowing its just lost.
But anyone that has been hacked are welcome to write me at thorvald@blockchainheroes.com so we can all get a better view on how this could happen.

We are now on 7th day of the incident, and last update from Kraken to me was:

We are still looking at some common patterns between all compromised accounts. Several of our agents are talking to account holders whose accounts have been breached. I will soon assign this request to our compliance department so you can give the police the contact information provided by our compliance officers.

How do I withdraw digital currencies from my account?
To withdraw digital currencies, you first need to add and save a new withdraw address to your Kraken account.
Go to Funding > Withdraw and choose the digital currency that you wish to withdraw.
Then click on ‘Add address’. When you are done entering the withdraw address and a unique description (e.g. ‘Bitcoin Wallet 1’) click on ‘Save address’.

I was hacked on Kraken too, and I had enabled 2-Factor Authorization on trades. But Krakens poor implementation allowed the hacker to switch off 2FA on trades without using 2FA, so he did buy ETH for all my dollars, and then withdraw it. Worst of all is that Kraken does not use any kind of security when withdrawing. No approval email, no 2 FA and no locked wallet og locked IP, and as I have never withdrawn anything from Kraken I really didn't expect that and felt I was secure - I have been using a lot of other exchanges, and not seen any other exchange without some security on withdrawls
I received an email with the changed security and with the withdrawal, but was driving and didn't see it before 30 minutes after the incident. And to stop a withdrawal that was not enough
My loss is currently almost 7.000$ but Kraken is still investigating

It is interesting to know how current clean BTC are spent. If most of them go directly to exchanges, we will probably se fewer coins for sale, but if most of them are stored, nothing wil lhappen. Anyone that can trace BTC mined in June 2016?

The softfork should just return zero/null when the DarkDAO.splitDAO(...); is executed instead of invalidation the contract, Then gass would be used and no harms done

Have you notice a problem with the microsoft bot following a link line http://www.yoursite.con/default.php#someplaceindocument
Using this in a bowser it will stirp of the name tag, and request the document like http://www.yoursite.con/default.php, but the bot requests the entire url, resulting in a 404
