A fantastic production, well done to all involved.

Fantastic to see Curve planting itself in the community, I can only hope more of these projects arise.

Anyone teetering over the 'book tickets' button should definitly take a chance with this keen company of actors.

I watched this and enjoyed it muchly. It's been getting a battering from the critics for being too twee and middle class, but sometimes I want something nice and easy to watch and have an emotional reaction to.

I just wish it wasn't only the songs of Blink 182!!

It was awful - I agree, they're obviously making this for kids only now but the script is worse than an episode of Peppa Pig and less cutting edge.

Hmmmm. It does seem that ITV are bored by it - I would like a crossover with Brittannia High where a dino pops out in the school does a dance and eats everyone... including Arlene.

Wowers - looks like I'm flying in the face of mass public opinion too - Sheila's Wheels was clever and got in your head - Compare the MeerKat was an interesting diversion to sell insurence, this advert appears derivative (to be fair it's probably because so much of his other work is similar) and it isn't wonderful, it reminds me of a particularly irritating student project.

But as everyone seems to disagree then it's obviously not for me.

Another advertising exec way behind the times - Lions in Kenya was funny 8/9 years ago... ... ... ...

While these are a self directed project (he also did Lemeny Snicket) they are wonderfully executed and the common knowlege that is Harry Potter allows artists and designers the ability to play with imagery around it the same way they would with Shakespeare.

Obviously these are (sadly) never going to be produced, HarperCollins holds the rights, but they were interesting enough for me to add to the site.

The covers would be completely unfit for the current market but as art on their own apeing a different time and style they're wonderful!

It's a really interesting topic - this is on of the first modern Celetoids to have a VERY public death and retribution. She becomes a martyr for cancer and everyone has to put on a sad face and feel guilt for what has essentially been to them a 2d character or ridicule.

Obviously I wish no one to die but I wish even less for someone to die on 'Living'. Her naive and 'sweet' comments about caring for her boys are overused now, I really wonder how they will feel when they're old enough to google her. I pray her producers aren't cold hearted enough to ask her to do a video goodbye to her sons.

I dispair but Jade is a product of our Media and all those that bought or commented are to blame for one of the most awkward stories of the year.

This will be one for Media Theory students to study in the future - her and Anna Nicole-Smith.

I'm looking forward to Moffatt more and more. It seems like he will do as he pleases, much like RTD. This is great news, and if Matt Smith fits the doctor he is going to write for then I look forward to meeting him.

I thought SM would be taking the doctor darker and more realistic and this casting decision proves it.

If you aim for the lowest common denominator you will miss out the 20% of the population who do have university degrees.

Sadly some of these people are the ones who wouldn't get it - just because you are intelligent does not mean you are media literate or have a high visual vocabulary.

This advert and the accompanying website have been created by some very 'now' creatives who have created an advert that appeals to them with which to win an award.

The sad fact is adverts like these are created by agencies to show how clever and cutting edge they are - you'd never see an advert like this (structure and tone of voice not content) for any other product/service/media that would have been paid for - it wouldn't have a market impact and the brand would have to be rock solid to risk it (see Cadbury Gorilla)

In my opinion the advert is amazing as a piece of creative output - will it make people think about doing drugs, no, it is as ineffective as the 'Brain Shop' advery for cannabis, too clever, far too clever.

It is called Mock the Week and I know it is mocking - that was the point of the article, MTW is the antithesis of panel shows, just men shouting at each other from desks.

Frankie Boyle is good at shouting - he isn't quicker, that's called editing, the go at it for about 3 hours and that gets edited down - it isn't shown as shot, in any way, none of these shows are - neither is it in anyway 'improvised' they have most of the clips and questions beforehand, for sharpness of wit listen to the News Quiz.

He also dominates the show because he is very good friends with production staff... but the politics of comedy are for a different day.

The article is not about particular comedians - I am well aware of tastes, some people still like Chubby Brown for example, but, at the moment we are exposed to this one type of comedy, mean, heartless and sarcastic, we need a richer comedy landscape.
