I'm guessing that dozens (if not hundreds) of other items make up the other $2000+. For example I don't believe I see Federal Prisons or the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) formerly known as food stamps.

Re: http://blog.matasar.org/post/582498180

Very, very interesting. I'm still very annoyed that Facebook changed the "Fan" button on Pages to "Like." I think that's deceptive.

Re: http://politicalbounce.com/post/502256937

Great point. I agree. And very few are reporting on the Iraqi Journalists' Union call for an independent investigation by the Iraqi government: http://www.google.com/hoste...

Re: http://politicalbounce.com/post/478870625

I never even realized Pat Sajak wrote opinion pieces.

Re: http://politicalbounce.com/post/466495898

Cool. However, I have dealt with so many websites that the server for the ads is incredibly slow (or not working) and then the site content doesn't load (or takes minutes instead of seconds). I think Ars has created a work around for this but most website have not. I've played around with the "enabling" (i.e. white list) function in AdBlock Plus (my Firefox add-on) but it never quite works for me. Do you have a recommendation for an AdBlocker that has a better white list function?

Re: http://politicalbounce.com/post/420259792

Are you referring to the crappy website?
