Seems like you have all the answers. I didn't see anywhere in the article where it stated the child was asleep when the officers busted down the door. They entered the home because of a report that a two year old child was left alone. Are they supposed to wait outside until the so-called responsible mother decides to come home??? What if she didn't come home? What would you propose they do then? Hey, at least the Mom locked the door before she left.

Re: Man, Boy Accused Of Beating 84-Year-Old Man - Miami News Story - WPLG Miami

Where did you read this? It could have been any car that hit that teenager. Wasn't like it was on a dirt road. This is a very busy area. Broward Sheriff's Office is EVERYWHERE in BROWARD COUNTY, hence the name. Other Police are outside their jurisdiction because maybe they don't live in the city that they work in or they are going to court in another area. Why are any of us driving around, to get to where we need to go where ever that place may be. Sure hope the teen is ok!

Re: Snooki Due In Court On Charge Of Being Annoying - Entertainment News Story - WPLG Miami

Wish these people would just go away!

Re: South Florida Commissioner Claims Officer Threatened Him - Miami News Story - WPLG Miami

You would be a millionaire now!

Re: South Florida Commissioner Claims Officer Threatened Him - Miami News Story - WPLG Miami

I understand the guns drawn but when the identity was determined, there should have been no reason this continued for an hour. The responsibility falls on the parents to keep children away from them. As far as the stupid teenagers and angry drunks, don't know....lets just call it stupidity. Looks like these punks picked on the wrong person this time. Way to go!!! Agree with everyone else though, shame they are in the hospital. Wonder if there was another motive for this, considering he is undercover, might have been another reason for the attack.

Re: Girl Hurt In Fall From Ride Returns To S. The body is an amazing thing and with the love and support of family, this little girl will put up a tough fight. You never know what life has waiting for you around any corner. This is a very sad story and I sure hope the best for this child and her family. Children are very resilient and can amaze you with their ability to cope. My daughter is living proof, as a cancer survivor (only nine years old), she has beat the odds and is my miracle.

Re: Autistic Boy's Parents Arrested - Miami News Story - WPLG Miami

Eddie777, there are way too many doctors and children's hospitals that specialize in dealing with any illness that a child has. I have a child that requires a specialist and as a parent, you don't stop until you find someone that can help! It is your job to continue looking for that right doctor. Support groups are free and are excellent tools for networking. Social workers are available at every hospital for just this purpose. I would never depend on or look for support from the public. It is not their responsibility to help, it is mine. I disagree with you about arresting these people. This is total neglect on their part for not looking after this child and being diligent in their efforts. The excuses are unacceptable and ludicrous. I feel no shame in my comments or thoughts about these people. You don't do this to a child no matter what is wrong with them!

Re: Autistic Boy's Parents Arrested - Miami News Story - WPLG Miami

Lynne, I was thinking the exact thing about the stepmother. What a bunch of idiots for doing this to a child. These people shouldn't see the light of day anymore and that precious little boy should be placed in a loving home with parents that would give him every ounce of attention he deserves. These people I classify as "Oxygen Robbers".

Re: Police Chief Leaves Loaded Revolver In Park - Miami News Story - WPLG Miami

Grrr! I don't think of the facts are not being released about this incident. People should be able to go where they want, when they want to, handicap or not. But, if this child was causing a disturbance in the restaurant, the parents could have taken the child outside until the episode (or whatever you would like to call it) passes and then return to the table. Or at least apologize to the other people around you for this behavior, which could help the matter. It's called being courteous. I have two small children and when they get unruly, we nip it right then and there or they are removed from the situation. This should apply to all children and parents in a situation like this. Or, the people that are being bothered by this could have requested to be moved. There are so many different scenarios that could have taken place instead of a violent outcome. Also, if you choose to confront a parent about their unruly child, handle it in an adult manner. At no point should violence be an answer. It's not the child's fault, I blame the parents and how they choose to handle the situation.

Re: Teacher Charged With DUI, Resisting Arrest - Miami News Story - WPLG Miami

LOL!
