I HATE the taxi drivers and taxi system in this city. I am absolutely in favor of Uber coming in a providing some much needed competition to the taxi-centric marketplace.

Maybe if the taxi operators didn't fight so hard against phase 2 of the monorail to McCarran I'd have more sympathy, but since they only have their own selfish interests in mind and not that of the communities, I say let Uber in to completely DESTROY their bottom-line and the vice-grip monopoly they have on this city.

So I am a long time Piracetam user and am thinking of stacking Noopept. I usually take Choline Bitartrate to supplement my Piracetam. Is there anything else I should be taking with Noopept to stave off negative effects like headaches? Thanks!

I believe that Day One really needs a web app. I usually do most of my writing from my Chromebook (netbook) and most of my editing from my MBP at home. A web app would complete the app and make it the best option available IMO.

Hello! Thank you for the great tutorial! I was wondering, are there some font types that cannot be used? I am attempting to use "Bank Gothic" on my site and I have loaded the font pack into the site folder and properly addressed it in my master CSS sheet, but it won't load in my browsers (Chrome, FF, Safari) nor Dreamweaver's live view. Here is the section of my CSS:

@font-face { font-family: BankGothic; src: url('fonts/BankGothic');}@font-face { font-family: BrushScript; src: url('fonts/BrushScriptStd.otf');}

On a side-note, Brush Script is working fine. I think the problem is that the font pack I have for Bank Gothic is a font suitcase and has no extension, but I am unsure what extension to put into my CSS to get it to load. Thanks!

I think google could find a way to mask the device and make it seem as if someone is simply using Google Chrome to view the page and not GTV. Just a thought...

Though I am not as critical of BGR as you, I agree that an editor would be a great addition to the team. I understand the need to report on the fly, but after the story has broken, an editor should go back and ensure that the mistakes are minimal. Just some food for thought.

Ok, maybe honest was not the best of terms to use, but the others apply. I am not saying that it is not possible to have that kind of love in our society, I am just saying that I wish we were more chaste. In the time depicted in the movie, there was no attempt to go out and just "get laid" as there is today. The concepts of one night stands were almost unheard of. Sex was not merely a fun activity to past the time but rather a true expression of ones love. I believe the final kiss of the movie proves this point well. There were many times that they wanted to kiss, but did not allow themselves because they were unsure of each others emotions. They saved that most cherished of kisses for the moment that they were sure they were in love. That kiss was almost two years in the making. If you tried to court someone for two years in our era, they'd think you mad. I wish we were more slow and deliberate with regards to finding a lover. I would love to eradicate the term "getting laid" from modern society.

What are the limitations for audio posts? I like to post a song of the day, and I would love to be able to do that from my BB, but it will not allow me to select any of the .mp3 files that I have on my SD card. Is there a file size limit? Thanks!

I disagree. First of all, the chances of living in a live fire situation without glasses are slim, thus that physical impairment is as much of a risk as asthma. Secondly, insulin is only different because the method of delivery has not yet been modernized enough to be feasible in a variety of situations. Asthmatics do not need to stop to take their inhaler, we do not need to remove any clothing, our medication is not kept in fragile metal containers, it does not have to be refrigerated, and it takes only seconds to administer. Lastly, I am not arguing that all MOS's have to be made available to asthmatics. In fact most of us know our limits and wouldn't want to be a Marine Infantryman and hump 25 miles everyday.

Now, the ADAAA (http://bit.ly/4LevIZ) states that an employer must provide reasonable accommodation to anyone with a disability if they wish to work there. I do not think that we should make basic easier just to accommodate, but I do think that asthmatics should be given a shot at it. There are plenty of MOS's in the military that require state-side desk work (especially those in Military Intel). Why is it ok to deny an entire (and ever growing) section of our population because of the way we were born?! I mean if the standards of medical fitness had read:

"Being a female (493), including having a vagina or having the general body mass and bone structure of a female, is disqualifying."

people would be up in arms. In fact it did say something like that once and it was deemed unreasonable. One might argue that females do not have the proper upper body strength that is required during a combat situation, and about most women they would be right. Does this mean that we cannot give any woman the chance to be a S.E.A.L.? No, it means that we allow them to try and if they do not have what it takes, we find another position for them to serve their country. This way the few people that can hack being a S.E.A.L. are recognized regardless of the way they were born. Again, I refer to someone with a vision impairment. I do not believe that they absolutely have to be a sniper, but many people with glasses have made great Corpsman and Medics. Basically, if everyone else in this country is required to comply with the ADAAA so should the largest employer of all; the U.S. Government.

They aren't saying that you couldn't run the mile and keep up with the rest of the crew but for your own safety you are a risk. The same goes for someone with diabetes who needs insulin all of the time. Do you really want someone next to you during heavy combat who is filling a needle for their diabetes instead of covering your ass against heavy fire? There is a broader picture that you have to look at. It is for your safety and the safety of others."
