Canada does have a national cricket team.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;With regard to the US, I think that it would be really hard to dislodge popular sports like baseball and football. But the majority of people don't really know how to ensure that their WiFi is secure. I could (if I was so inclined) tap into a number of my neighbours wireless connections.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;There was a story about a group of guys here in the US tapping into people's home wifi networks while out for a drive! There are a number of different standards, all with varying degrees of robustness.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I certainly wouldn't surf without some form of encryption, just as I wouldn't download stuff without a virus guard and firewall.
