What is the minimum amount of sleep the commercial pilots need before they fly, is there a general guideline? Also, it is almost impossible to enforce this, so I presume we rely on the Pilot's conscience!

How long does it normally take from when yo decide to get a license to when you actually get it in your hand (assuming you do things as fast as possible)?

I have heard that tailwinds are why it is quicker to come back from the US (from England) than it is to ge there....can you explain this phenomenon

How are private airstrips governed in-terms of regulation, do they need to be inspected every so often to make sure they are up-to-scratch?

The current GPS satellites used are US if I am not mistaken, there was talk that the Europeans were going to launch their own GPS satellites, is this true?
