I just bought a MacBook Pro (no touchpad), and out of the box it showed 95% charge, only 3 hrs. Then it wanted to do some update, so I did, and now MAGICALLY the "hours remaining" figure does not show. Apple's solution is to hide the problem.

I lived in Minneapolis. When I saw the 3M image (they are a Minneapolis company), i just saw it as mourning. They could have written out a message, but I thought the one picture said it all.

i thought I was the only one who used my system! people are smart! What I do is pick a "master" password word, that includes a capital letter, one or more numbers, and punctuation. So let's say I use Frosting777!. Then I just add whatever site i need a password for:

I think the next later of customization for the HBAC system is to get user input. Poll building residents periodically with a simple question: "are you: too hot/too cold/just right" and adjust the temperature according to the majority.

I don't think this is just a millennial issue. There are many Gen-Xers who don't want to work a mindless corporate job and are creating their own careers and having multiple income streams. I think it's a sea change that will transform our "work-life balance." I think life will be more important than work. I just wish i was younger and had more energy to take more risks!

Victim mentality. One guy had so many good things going for him: cute, sexy, smart, creative, good in bed, and manners. But he kept complaining how many bad things had happened to him in life. The first one or two, I said, "poor baby" but after ten it became clear he was the victim: of his own bad judgment and seemingly complete lack of character assessment of the people he associated with.

*sigh* i hate efforts like this, trying to force a collection of photos into an aesthetic. Do you know why you can't find a "cool" photo of George Carlin? Because he wasn't a "cool" dude. He was an anarchist - trying to make us police our own thinking (and society's too), but he did it with humor. With goofiness. If he were still alive he'd make a joke about this project. But since he's not, I'll use this quote of his that works perfectly:
