I highly recommend you guys to buy a pair of Jack Purcell's, a small bucket of white matte wall paint (NOT ACRYLIC PAINT! 'Cause it doesn't crack and gives a glossy finish, not what you want.) and a coarse brush. It'll turn out exactly the same as the original Margiela's Converse and it'll crack over 2 or 3 weeks. Canvas takes a longer time to crack compare to leather and leather cracks really fast within a week. The only problem that I'm facing is the base of the shoes, I tried to paint it white too, but it didn't last long. Anybody here owns a pair of original Margiela's Converse tell me what happens to your shoes base after using it? Does the white paint on the base of the shoes come off too?
