I like what you said about the subjective purity, or otherwise, of marriage. It's kind of sad that it's come to that these days and that it no longer holds that sanctity as it was intended ('til death do us part), but some people need to wake up to the reality of things. It's all well and good that people are against it (as they are entitled to), but when views start to infringe on others' liberties, then it's a problem.

Haha, it's not as simple as that. :P She gets real people as models, paints on their skin in an impressionist style to make them look like paintings, then photographs them.

James, I don't think he's ever edited like this before (I wish I could pull off his editing style), but the composition is definitely in the same vein as his Hawaii shots with the foreground rocks. I'll hit you with the editing details on MSN.

I'm thinking convert to B&W, up the brightness and contrast then add the dark blue hue with lowered saturation. Oh, and then add vignetting.

It was originally in colour, but I didn't think it the same effect as the black and white version. I'll post up some outdoor colour ones later today.

Yeah, I noticed the focus went I went to process. It bugged me heaps; figured I should've gone with the smaller aperture and maybe then the exposure would've been better too, but oh well. I would've fixed it, but I'd already packed up everything by then. It's only going to be shown at like 400px width in the description, so it should go unnoticed. My camera is pretty much permanently set at the widest (f/5-ish, depending on zoom) for everyday shooting.

The reflector is this thick cardboard with one shiny silver side which we use to put under the gas stove when we have steamboat. No idea where they got it, though. xD
