Ah the iPhone. I can’t get enough of it. iPhone this and iPhone that. And while using it as a GPS is not perfect, Navigon is probably the best GPS solution for the iPhone. Thanks for your in-depth reviews of all things iPhone.

Because of the iPhone and probably Gear Diary and it’s team….I ended up getting my first Mac in 17 years. I’ve been a loyal Windows user and I would never use constrained limited Mac. But it is not constrained or limited. My Macbook is the best piece of computer hardware I’ve ever owned. And the software is really reliable too. Thanks to the Gear Diary for helping me to stay up to date in all things Mac.

Another Mac tip…this one for something I didn’t think I’d actually ever use, but I saved it in my ‘starred’ section of Google Reader just in case. Lately I’ve been traveling a lot and having the full-length cord for my Macbook has been helpful in hotels. This might be just the thing I need.

I've been pretty happy with QuickSilver. It's free and I like to quickly type a few letters to open a program....Now if I had a Mac tablet ....like a big iPhone...this might be more interesting.

I was pretty excited. I do love Harry Potter. But $90. Yikes. For a few dollars more I could get a logitech harmony type remote.

I'm a cheapskate with little money so I was thinking around $20-30 would be my 'buy-it-now' price. But I can't justify $90. Looks cool and fun though.

I put up with ATT because of the iPhone. I've used WM phones and palm phones for years. And this was the first 'smartphone' that just worked. Everything (apps) is integrated together. Builtin wifi, gps, and an beautiful looking-fantastic to type on touch screen...and easy syncing of media and apps.
Sure it has it's flaws and I can't wait till iPhone 4 phones and os come out. But it is still a near perfect device....for me. (the 3gs would be the tops for me now, I hate running so low on memory)
yes I loose calls and loose coverage, so if Verizon comes out with the latest iPhone next summer, I'll be among the millions who jump from AT&T's sinking ship.

I like many others will be traveling to visit family and friends this holiday season. I know the way, but this would be awesome to help find places along the way to; feed the kids, buy last minute gifts, get gas, find hotels, etc.
I also travel a lot for work and this would be a great tool to help me get to my destinations and get around at my destinations. Thank you.

I would agree. The iPhone is everything I wanted in my pocket. The internet on the iPhone is sooooo amazing. It makes me wonder how I ever surf'd the net on my crappy old Treo 700wx with that crippled Pocket IE or even Opera Mini on that little 240x240 screen, yikes.

And iTunes on my iPhone blows Pocket Windows Media Player out of the water. Other WM media players may be better with the ability to play more formats, but nothing is better at syncing and organizing my library. I love it. I had a Sansa for a while and I always looked down on iPod for their proprietary use of iTunes and DRM and such, but iTunes is so easy. And Podcasts works so well. I'm sold on iPhones/iPods now. They just work.

So I would agree convergence. Internet, Media, Mail, GPS, Location Aware applications, appstore, beautiful hardware, and ease of use. I love the iPhone.

My only recommendations would be better battery, better gps apps (TomTom type) and better calendaring and tasks support.

That stinks. I'm looking for a DVD catalog solution as well. Movie Collector from Collectorz.com is being made, but no news on when.

I hope somebody comes out with a good solution and soon.

Ps. Have I said how wonderful it is that I can EASILY read and post to your site from my iPhone. Thank you. Some 'iPhone only' sites aren't as easy and friendly as this one. Thank you again.

Thanks for the link, but after 4 min and quick browsing, I couldn't find anything I liked.

Granted it is 1000 times better the selection at emusic. I signed up with them and I'm still frustrated about how lame their selection was, now even after I quit.
