It's held up surprisingly well. I've since painted it too. It's even stood up to one of my foster dachshunds trying to get into the nest box. Remember though, we don't have much rain here.

I am originally from PA and long for seasons again. I would very much love seasons of bare trees and icy roads! Sounds crazy, I know, but the drought and constant sunshine here has me in a perpetual state of reverse seasonal affective disorder!

Ack! I loved my SMEG at first but as soon as the warranty was up, things on it just started breaking. Sagging main door, freezer door snapping off, not keeping consistent temp (probably due to sagging door), shelves with cracks in them... It's a great size and design but the quality isn't worth that price tag.
