Guess it's because I am old as hell, but I have seen every one of my favorite bands go through shit like this. It's never any less sad, but it happens. Really just wanted to say we all know how awesome you are Josh and all look forward to all the awesome shit you will do now.

that'd be awesome but no. i wish i had the videos, i know my family has them on VHS somewhere. it was like 14 years ago that he used to do it. he did it through this organization http://www.sca.org/ . it was pretty crazy. he and his friends would spend free time crafting armor and foam swords wrapped in duct tape. and i was forced to help make costumes haha.

I could see you doing that. It's funny my dad used to do something similar when i was in middle school. The group he was in dressed as Roman soldiers. And they would have festivals and big battles against other groups. And they'd get wasted haha. The whole family had to dress in costume. It seemed pretty embarassing at the time, but looking back now it was actually alot of fun.

i still can't fathom how a cover record can cause so much controversy. aren't there better places in the world toward which to direct ones anger? i think so. people really need to relax. everyone seems to get down on bands for the stupidest things, whether it's that they put out a cover album, or didn't put out and album, or put out too many...i guess there are just some people you can't make happy. and fuck those people. the rest of will be having a good time.

as a fan it sounds like loads of awesome to me! original stuff is fantastic but sometimes it's just fun for a band to play their twist on songs they love. it's all in good fun. and i look forward to hearing it. people need to lighten up.

of course the "explains it all" thing does make me cringe a little due to the fact that my name is "Larissa" and i suffered through many Clarissa explains it all jokes in my younger days.

so i threw a vote your way. had to vote a few times because i have some friends nominated too. but you definitely deserved a vote i think. of course the winner is usually whoever the middle school set is swooning over at the moment, so never usually turns out to great.

it's pretty amusing that 600 people can come out of the woodwork to try to get free shit and than to leave hate comments to whine about what fucking sore losers they are and how blissfully unaware they are of how not funny they are. it'll will be nice when it get's back to the like 10 people who normally leave comments on the shit you post haha. :)
