Was hoping you'd show a way to filter all G+ photos larger than 2048 x 2048. Since I have a lot of G+ photos and many of them are larger than that. There's no way I'm going to click through thousands of photos one at a time, looking at each to see whether its size counts against my quota and makes it a candidate for deletion.
But, there's another way to get around the quota. Open a new Gmail account and switch to that.
BTW, disqus login with google account is broken.

Re: Project Wing: Google’s delivery-by-drone service

"Drone" is a militarized word that evokes images of destruction and is an extremely poor choice of branding for a nonlethal civilian technology.

Re: Put a bee on it: Portland “bee dork” makes hives with pollinators in mind

Matt Reed has a website, you didn't link to it but it's at beethinking.com in this case I think the external link is relevant.

Re: Safely Integrating Urban Agriculture With Urban Living

Testing the soil in a lab is critical for food safety. This service is often offered for free by various government agencies, but often requires some research to find out where to go in your area. However, this should be your very first step before you do anything else, as it will determine the necessary steps you must follow. Please do not skip this step.

Re: Activists target Google employee at his Berkeley home

"Activists" is a careless and crappy choice of words. There are various PGP implementations that do a good job of secure encryption ; however they require both sender and recipient to use PGP. Since most people have no idea what that means, and since there is no widespread free simple-to-use implementation on par with Gmail, it's an uphill battle.

Re: Hey Android Manufacturers, Too Much of a Good Thing Can Be More Than Enough!

Personally I am still using my aging HTC Droid Incredible with CM7 and am very satisfied with it. I plan to keep it until my contract ends. This is the first Smartphone that has ever satisfied my needs so well for so long. I think device proliferation may confuse consumers, but on the other hand we are seeing very rapid evolution. Much faster than Apple can match with its infrequent iterations. Android has had some growing pains, but I don't think that means manufacturers need to emulate Apple. Just my 2 cents.

Re: [Tutorial] How To Control Many Computers With A Single Mouse And Keyboard

I find that it has some bugs that cause problems when using PPT and VNC connections. I guess human sacrifice will always appeal to the masses. What they want is a candidate who is willing to publicly eviscerate the opposition, then eat the still-beating heart in order to placate an angry god. Perrito just doesn't have the stones for it. Instead, I recommend Zotero http://zotero.org or Mendeley http://mendeley.com both of which are similar to Evernote but far more Linux-friendly. Also, Zotero and Mendeley are far better tools than Evernote for managing research citations.

Re: Open Letter to Google’s Larry Page

Two sides to Google's crypto-fascist coin: business and government. In typical revolving-door style. To paraphrase Benito Mussolini, fascism may more accurately be called corporatism, for it is the merger of corporations with the State. What the State cannot do, corporations may be made to do.

The corporate-State doesn't want anyone hiding behind pseudonyms, unless they do so as agents of the corporate-State.

Re: Here’s Why Wall Street Is Killing AOL

Perhaps the advertising dog has had its day.

Re: WordPress Now Syncs With Facebook Pages, But That Might Be a Bad Idea

I like your point really facebook algorithms.
