As humans, our ONLY response and reaction to the cross can still be...SIN. It's our MO. Outside of the stirring of our spirit by the sovereign God himself can we THEN react to the holy, terrible, and beautiful death---and resurrection---of Jesus on the cross with repentance.

Anything we do that has the potential to steal glory from God is a sin, whether it is singleness OR marriage...if God's name receives more "cumulative" glory from two individuals being married rather than they be separate, then let's begin the nuptials!

Why would we worship a God we fully understand and know??? Knowing that there is so much we CANNOT know about our Creator moves us to an awe-inspired worship that glorifies not only the parts of Him we understand, but also praises him for the depths of his unknowable majesty.

Hell is holy. Its depravity and place away from the presence of God point to the fact that it's a place for those who have chosen sin over salvation. It glorifies God in that we get what we deserve from a just and righteous God--hell. Yet, those that accept the grace he freely gives are ransomed not only into his grace but also heaven as well.

Hell, in its very essence and by contrast to heaven, highlights the gracious, loving character of God.

To be honest, I'd say eating meals. We have absolutely NO IDEA what people in other nations have to deal with day by day just to get scraps in their stomachs.

I'm blessed so much to be able to eat 3, 4, heck, even 6 meals a day, and not worry if I'll have enough food or money to provide for my hunger tomorrow.
