Thanks for the recommendation, but my little brother was in charge, and we ended up about 2 blocks away at ABC Tavern. Then we drove back to my parents' house in Wadsworth.

Cool, thanks for the history lesson. I've never met Wes, but I read him on donewaiting, and the way he writes about Dipset in general and Cam'ron in particular always had me confused about what the Columbus connection was exactly.

Hey, in case you didn't make the trip, they did indeed play this (and many others from Last Splash).

Also, their current bassist left the tour a few days ago when his girlfriend went into labor. Conveniently filling in for him was former Breeders bassist Josephine Wiggs.

All in all, a very enjoyable show.

He probably had gotten pulled over there before. Grandview police are terrible in that particular stretch and pretty much write tickets there all day long. As a Grandview resident, I can tell you that 38 mph right there is seriously risky behavior.
