My permalink scheme is `/post/:title`. If I go to /post/foo-bar it 404's. If I hit /post/foo-bar/index.html it works. Any ideas for a fix?'

Also, using Sinatra's `not_found` method was useful.

#newtwitter is overwhelming for a lot of users. There is a lot of data on the screen for your eyes to take in. For power users, that's fine. For people like my mom, they just want the old one back.

I think multi-column Facebook would be cool, but for 90% of their users, it would be too complicated.

I agree with @Kaspar Schiess Rails is definitely harder, but it will talk to a database, handle migrations, do view inheritance, and tons of other stuff that requires tons of work or external libraries. There are lots of books, screencasts, blog posts, etc on Rails. The number of stuff on how to cobble together a bunch of gems and Sinatra is way less.

Don't get me wrong, Sinatra is great for simple stuff. I definitely think Rails has it's place, even for a beginner.

Love it. It's really hard to keep universal apps small, especially if the design is pretty custom with lots of full screen textures. It would be great if Apple came up with a better solution. Eventually, everything will be @2x and this solves that problem too.

Why not override init in ServerClient and have it call setupReachability? Your AppDelegate shouldn't have to know about that implementation detail.
