I dumped cable three months ago. Pay $35/month for PSVue, $12/month for Netflix, and $85 for internet. $132/month vs over $250 for cable/internet.

Who are you to tell the players where they should go to get playing time? Maybe they recognize playing basketball is not in their future after college and they have an opportunity to learn from the best coach available. Perhaps they want to be a part of something larger than just playing, they want to win and if that means just 5 minutes a night at the end and making contributions in practice, so be it. It is their choice.

UConn does not ever use it's full allotment of scholarships. They currently have 10 kids on scholarship. And before anyone jumps in with "but they get the best players," only once in the last five years have they had the top recruiting class. Most classes are ranked in the teens. One year in that span they were unranked.

There are 3 rulings the panel of judges has to rule on and from my understanding they have to be able to overturn all three.

1. Inadequate notice
2. denial of cross examination
3. denial of equal access to evidence (notes)

Most of the questions focused on the first of the three. Why? Did they already have their mind made up on the other two? Did they walk in so sure they can overturn Berman on two and were looking for a way to overturn on the third and find in favor of the NFL? OR are they sure the other two would stick and are looking to make the NFLPA squirm because they had to be there today anyway? Are the corrupt? Did Peyton Manning send goons to their homes?

Let me get this straight, the Mannings put this new witness in touch with MMQB? The Mannings basically vetted (invented?) the story of a law enforcement officer who saw the "prank" as "not a big deal" and "of no consequence in my life" yet he remembers it vividly nearly 20 years later? Something doesn't smell right.

Stradley has been ardent in her belief that "if it can happen to New England, it can happen to your team." People seem to be missing this point by saying the Patriots are "habitual cheaters" (they then point to things that are not cheating, like the Ravens game and even the f-ing tuck rule).

I love when sports media get on fans for being, you know, fans and talking up or defending their teams against perceived slights. However, when their alma mater win a football or basketball game of any import (or in some cases, even against some sister of the poor) they turn into 100% fan boys on social media. Bert Breer does this, but he's far from the only one. The hypocrisy is amusing to me.

While that is true, he was also on Sirius NFL Radio the morning that the story first broke (I believe in the 8:00 hour) and was clear in saying that this was a non-story, balls often have to be reinflated, especially in cold and/or wet conditions, and there was (paraphrasing) no violation.

If they trade into the first round, they have to pick at 29. That was part of the punishment. They cannot move any higher. So if they wanted to make a trade with, say Oakland, the Raiders would give up their pick but the Patriots pick at their originally designated spot. This is a failsafe after they lost the pick in the 08 draft but still were able to take Mayo at 10.
