Don't put him in jail. Let him go back to his homies cause they miss him. Of course if he had been at school or work none of this would have happened. By the way I never read anything about who killed the Faulkner boy. I'm guessing he never went to jail.

I am after a quick look at the national and local news. I enjoy commenting from time to time on certain issues. I don't particularly like these bragging sessions like over reporting the beauty pagents and atta boys.

I have never heard so much bull from republicans. We must get control of health care cost. If we don't have enough doctors, get rid of the AMA and lets grow some doctors. We need to grow a new breed that don't have the mentality that I will recover my educational expenses and office equipment for my practice the first year and still have enough left over to invest in the drug companies. Doctors must change. The health care industry and drug industry must change. The oldest americans living can not attribute their longevity to doctors or the medical or drug industry. So why are we treating them like a holy cow?

I'm kinda dense on these matters but revenue to fund some type of government must come from somewhere. Kings levied taxes, conquering nations levied taxes. communist government own everything they get their cut first. God requires 10 percent minimum. what is your suggestion Daryl.

Can you see how passing ordinances left and right will present problems later. I would suggest before a city council or other city entity can pass an ordinance we need to pass one that would bring these ordinances before the people for a vote. You say that would take a long time. Well you get the idea.

Somebody made the decision to allow Reef to hook on to our system. Who was it and did it require a permit? I would think that anytime a potential hazardous waste in going to be allowed to hook on to our system that someone in authority in our city would have to permit it.

Save enough of the building to move the police department and several other city entities into. The city can't afford the buildings they are trying to upkeep now.

Demolish the building. If it was not good enough for our school children before building Nichols Lawson it certainly is not now. We have made a habit of continuing to hold on to buildings that need to be torn down. The area is to saturated now and a haven for crime and drugs. Please get rid of it.

It's clear the folks in that part of the state want to be free. Free to do any and all things they want to when they want to to whomever they want to. Go St. Clair County do what you want to. Who gives a rip anymore. It's clear you are going to break the law and quit fussing about drugs where would you get yours it they get all of them. Besides it's only the law they are breaking. I'm sure those that have commented thus far know a lot more than myself about socializing America that is only 200 years old. Now Great Britian is several years older and wiser than we and they have healthcare for all. What sounds better to you taxes on the wealthy or death to the indigent? Handouts or giveaways to the poor or America records another banner year for the number of millionaires. You are right it's sad that the government must equalize rather than a volunteering public.

Who ever has dropped the ball thus far are most likely still on the planning commission. What a rediculous story for a supposed to be a with-it city like Sylacauga has to be reported. Of course this is the same city folks that did not want development on 280. Dah.......

Your right lets just contract everything out. All city services then we can hire a city manager who knows what to do. We can fire all the city council and not re-elect anymore. We don't need them. Then we can sure enough have a stinking city or just put a piece of plastic over it.

I bet you top 8% talking here about this article and grocery tax don't work any harder than the ones it will help. I would also bet you wouldn't think about giving your employees and i am assuming you are business folks, a 4% raise to cover this tax. I would also bet that you don't tithe on all you make and finally I bet you don't pay your fair share of taxes as compared to these you would deny the benefit of food without taxes.

With the internet and electronic generated news services I see no future in newsprint. Need for book and magazine paper should hold up forever. The future for toilet paper, copy machine paper, photograph paper and packaging paper is never ending. Maybe our local papermill can diversify. If it can't we at least could lose the smell.

Now come on Daily Home, this is uncalled for. We are use to this sort of thing. Sylacauga business as usual. Who knows someone might be impressed enough to bring some new industry to town. It might even get those marble folks to encourage some more of their customers to move their operations here.
