Age discrimination and bias are part of our culture. People are not aware of the fact that it isn't a person's age that determines how much they can learn. In general I like the article. Thanks for writing it .

Age discrimination is rampant in our society. To date I have not met an older realtor that can not send a text message. Even if an agent doesn't know how to send a text message they could learn very easily. it is a common misconception that older can't learn, however I have run into a few who won't learn.

Must be a new reporter. Fireworks have been launched over the river by the city for a few years now without the taste of Minnesota. Even with the taste they were launched on the opposite side of the river and never from harriet Island. They were held at the state capitol in 2014 because of the freaky summer flooding along the river otherwise they would have been launched from the shepard road side of the river. Shame on St. Paul for having them so late this year that children cried and in such a poor location that few saw them.

Thanks for writing this. Last weekend I accidently referred to a tap room as just another bar and it was explained to me that people who drink craft beer are different from those who drink regular beer. That may be true but I think there are some similarities too.

I just wanted to congratulate you. I will also be celebrating my 10th blogging anniversary this year. Not only have you had this blog for ten years but you have actually been writing on it all this time. There are many "great" bloggers out there who don't actually create blog posts. That is pretty unusual. It takes commitment. I know you don't need my praise. You are likely rewarded with business and you love what you do. Congratulations my friend. Keep on writing. :)

real estate agents are almost never salaried. Most are independent contractors working on a 100% commission basis. We have income or maybe earnings but not salaries.

No one ever has to do business with a newly licensed real estate agent. If consumers would insist that their agent has at least a year of experience the problem would be solved. Instantly.

Computers have been around for decades. I bought one long ago and taught my millennial age children how to use it so they could grow up with the technology. I got my first cell phone in the early 1990's, and it was me who introduced the technology to my millennial age children. as or the social media sites you mention I use each but I don't think I would have to have a facebook account to hold an executive level job at fortune 500 company.

Every other industry has this thing called age discrimination. Generalizations based on age are not welcome in a discrimination free work place. With that said this old agent gave birth to millennials and understands them just fine.

I had the option of sending my sales data to Zillow too but I did not. I can't see any reason to drive traffic to Zillow when I can put it on my own site.

Have been unable to benefit from lower interest rates because we don't owe enough money. Missed almost a decade of lower interest rates.
