I remember really enjoying Mega Man 9 up until the end, but then it got crazy difficult and I decided it wasn't worth finishing. I could only get sent back to the first level of Wily's Castle so many times before it got too frustrating to enjoy.

There were definitely a few moments in MM10 where I nearly died a cheap death but got saved by one of those little saving platforms they give you on Easy. Those platforms were basically their way of saying "we know this is awful; that's why we put these here."

I like that Proto Man's included as a playable character for free this time around. He was, what, an extra 2 bucks last time? MM10 makes MM9 seem greedy.

I dunno, I really only see the nose. My eyes, mouth, and chin really only seem to indicate that the 3DS noticed that I had eyes, a mouth, and chin. Head shape seems off, too.

I guess it's an okay starting point. I mean, I could certainly edit from there. This amazing facial recognition technology might save me about 30 seconds in the 5 minutes I spend making a Mii.

Brian, I didn't realize you had a Mini. I guess it kind of makes sense. You're this chaotic neutral sort of mischief maker. You go out, you do crazy things, you're pretty unpredictable. Having a goofy car fits into this persona, because it, too, does not seem to give a single fuck.

You're the second person to share it with me, so I figure I'll post that next. It's the best tribute to game glitches I've ever seen. Going into Saints Row 2, I had no idea the Saints Row games (all 2 of them) had a reputation for being buggy. But wow, I guess I got off easy, what with random dudes stuck in my car. (Not a euphemism.)

Yeah, you could swim in both San Andreas and GTA IV.

Red Dead Redemption puts a greater emphasis on realism, I guess. Your character plays like he weighs more and any accessories or weapons you buy show up on his person. So, maybe it's not a step backward, but a step toward a less wacky simulation.

I couldn't tell if it was another horse because it was at night. Same reason I couldn't see the cougar. But holy crap, you can hear those things just fine. "ROWR ROWR" then oh hey my horse is dude and now I have to shoot this big cat in the face.

I don't like that your horse isn't magic. As in, if I drop $750 for a 3-star horse, I don't want that thing to die forever. The nice thing about video games is that once you have something, you usually have it forever. But nope, not with virtual horses.

Though I could've been spoiled by Saints Row 2, which just keeps a record of every car you've ever earned or stored, that you can summon at any safe house, regardless of whether or not you blew that car up or whatever.

Funny you mention that, because that horse just disappeared on me. As in, I took it into town, I'm pretty sure no one stole it, then when I called for my horse I got some random brown horse instead of the tan-colored stallion I had before. But because you have to pay for horses, and there's no way to tell how fast they are until you ride them, I don't really care.

I'm waiting for my horse to run over someone or jump in front of a train. No cliff deaths for me, but I have had him get stuck in front of stuff before. And then one time a cougar killed him. Then I skinned him (why not?) and another copy of him ran over to me when I called for him a minute later. I don't know about you, but if I came back to life just to see my former self skinned I'd probably get the hell out of there.
