These comments are hilarious. The game packages start at $45 USD and you don't need to spend anymore than that to get into the game. A friend can just fly over and lend you a space yacht to fly or crew up, or even wire you in-game cash to buy any ship you want. All of us "fools" are busy having fun playing the game and the evolving experience. So by all means continue the hate. The salt amuses us.

Skill issue. Are they even aware of all the camera controls prior to shooting + post-processing? Something tells me they only care about one-click "auto-everything" quality.

100% depends on the monitor quality. HDR looks fine on mine even when not gaming, so your results may vary. However, that WIN+ALT+B combo has become more useful fo rme for an unrelated reason. While I have HDR on all the time, occasionally some games will launch seemingly out of range and the monitor will just go NO SIGNAL. I used to do crazy stuff with ALT+TAB to quit the game and toggle HDR from display settings, but toggling WIN+ALT+B brings the display and the game both back. There's probably a Windows or GPU or display bug in there somewhere, but that key combo comes in handy when you lose your display due to an HDR glitch.

Srsly can we just get an ad-free price tier for YouTube? I have ZERO interest in the uninteresting extra content I guess they've added to Premium in the last few years… just lemme pay for no ads, that's all! The current price is exorbitant for so little value.

Holy smokes, this headline was EXACTLY what I have been thinking for years now. Using Google G-Suite for personal use was likely the WORST tech decision I've ever made, and screwed up so many interoperability opportunities for me ever since.

I would have paid money for Google to simply migrate my account to a "personal" version but allow me to keep the custom domain. Good lord, they've had a decade to figure it out. Now they leave many families stranded without tech support for such a big shakeup.

If you figure out a way to migrate family members to something else while retaining the custom domain, please let me know. We are the many who were duped into using Google as a way to bring family members over -- ultimately being locked out of the modern "Google Family" features. No way to migrate :(

Largely cosmetic, unfortunately. The real goal should be to filter and arrange the inbox to behave more like the "smart" behavior from Google Inbox. Currently, Spark doesn't let you remove the "Newsletters" view from the main inbox. (Why do I want to see spammy, bulk email up front?) I would rather select certain Gmail inbox tags for prioritized notifications.

Thanks. This is nearly identical to what I'm doing now. However, it seems to be calling each resource twice. From what I hear, both $http and $q create their own promises. I'd like to know, however, how to cut down on the number of requests —specifically limit it to two calls (not four) if I only need two promises.

This doesn't seem to work for video files —let's say I need to choose a less-data-intensive video based on screen size. If you use:

The poster image shows up but the videos never play. For video, it seems srcset is unsupported; only src works for a single media file. Is there a method like this that works for video files?

I don't want to scale a 480p background video for displays that are 4K, and vice-versa I certainly don't want 480p players to have to load a 4K-sized background video.

Why, do you have 50+ kids mowing your lawn for more than 130 hours per month? If not, then no you don't have to pay for his health care. More than likely anyway, the ACA allows the kid to be covered under his parents' health insurance until he turns 26.

Small typo in the responsive CSS in the tbody selector… the width attribute has a colon at the end of the value instead of a semicolon. Otherwise, this is an amazing article which has helped me a lot!

I think the shocker in this article is the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I hope it's because their head nominations were blocked in Congress for so long that they weren't able to meet the deadline.

Yep, at first I set device notifications ON for @BreakingNews (twitter) but then I was inundated by worldwide events. Not a bad thing —it's certainly not spam. Personalization is the key. Their app is a welcome change. I hope now to be alerted for tsunamis, earthquakes, and zombie outbreaks ;)
