There is a comments feed - over on the right of the Disqus community page, but it would be nicer to have more prominence here. Also there is a 'top posters' widget from Disqus so they just need swapping I guess.

I've used mine with my Mac too successfully, but I can't get the iPhone to play ball now which it would with Joiku... is it just me messing up the settings?

To me it looks like the laptop gets a 192.168.28.x address, but the iPhone gave up and self-allocated (I presume) a 169.x.x.x address.

Agreed! How overdue are we for a QWERTY N-series handset. I'd even make do with an E71 if they'd just release the damn thing...

I'm due an upgrade and the money has been burning a hole in my pocket for several months now.

I think it's because it only supports an 'ad-hoc' mode connection at the moment and these devices expect an 'infrastructure' mode access point... Given JoikuSpot also does this, I assume it's easier to achieve on the handset.

Maybe - WOM are sending me one to review OVI on so I'll be able to have a good play in advance, but at the moment I'm still wedded to having a QWERTY device so I might just wait a bit longer or buy off-network. Thinking of switching to PAYG anyway to just run a £5pm data-only handset... I only need one handset for voice and am considering switching that to the iPhone.

It is shaping up to be a pretty sweet device, but... I'm dubious about all the specs coming out of the BGR articles. A while back they were also touting an N-series QWERTY device with a picture that clearly said E71 on it :-)

Like the Tooth Fairy and Father Christmas - will believe it when I see it.

However, it would be my choice on the basis of what's been published (as well as the iPhone).

Wat would be really cool would be if Three would provide an 'auto renew' feature for add-ons so I could just forget about it, but manual intervention once a month is something I can tolerate for now...

There's one in the Voda store I just walked past on my way to lunch. Actually, within 100 yards all of the operators have stores and I have to say the Voda one does stand out as the smartest looking with the most interesting things - recharging station and 'can I help you' computer paticularly...

@Krissie: Disagree... The iPhone or N95 are the equivalent of the Mercedes S-Class in the car world - the technology will filter down and influence the mass-market devices. What is successful on these devices matters.
