At the very least, have your name at the top-left link to something meaningful. Also, are the time stamps indicative of when you wrote chunks of the text? I guess it doesn't lend very well to editing and revising, but would enforce spontaneous writing.

As an aside, I did something like this recently. I filtered out posts before whenever my refresh date was, so that they don't appear in my blog's history unless you search or them / visit a permalink.

That means it needs to be plugged into your computer (those music notes are iTunes)

2.2.2 only serves to try to patch the security hole that makes the device unrootable in the first place. You might as well stay on 2.2.1.

So sometimes verizon bloatware can't just be uninstalled, because there are dependencies in it that they've hooked into the Android OS. For example, if you uninstalled the LG Home thing, it won't display anything (or so I've been told). That might be your problem. See if you can find it on the Android market or from a friend

It sounds as though you have an un-tethered jailbreak. This means it needs to be hooked up to a computer to be jailbroken every time you turn it on. There are newer jailbreaks out there that you should try out.

Usually, if the apps won't work, it's because they require features exclusive to the newer versions of iOS. If I were you, I'd invest in a new iPod, because a lot of these features aren't feasible on the older iPod's hardware.

You won't be able to. The first gen iPod Touch doesn't have hardware fast enough to run iOS 5.
