I manage 40 machines across our network. vista was just like millinium a POS OS they added some stupid bells and whistles too that sucked. I only had one millinium machine and have never bought a vista machine. stuck with XP as long as possible until most places stopped installing it last year. now win 7 on half our machines. It's not bad but a memory hog for sure. It also takes a while to find half the tools I was use to finding in XP to fix shit with.

Re: E-minis

wow look at the peso($US).

Re: Elliott Wave Update ~19 April 2011

I almost went short this afternoon but waited and I'm glad. 'get your shit together or you are going to start paying alot higher rates to borrow'. Check out the front page of the WSJ. Debt to GDP amongst AAA rated countries we have the highest. The schmucks here in DC better come up with a solid plan to reduce our running deficit or the bond vigilantes will be coming for us much sooner than expected. Once that happens QE whatever won't matter anymore as it will just increase our borrowing costs. The faucet just got shut off. By June or July it will be over. If not then the coming shit storm is going to be here much sooner than I anticipated.

Re: E-minis

I am taking responsibility. If the post came across as blaming EW I did not mean it that way. I simply stated that had I followed my previous trading strategies w/o any influence of EW I would have been up. EW was another tool however it changed my trading strategy.

Re: E-minis

This may be one of my last comments. I found EW in 2009. I must say that it has caused my portfolio more harm than good. I know the saying don't rely on it to trade etc and I don't. However it has caused me to hesitate and not follow through what I use to use to trade and invest. Right now I'm only 10% invested in this market. The problem is now it's run up enough that I feel hesitant to get in anymore. Then I see some calling for a top around 1440 or so. That's a long ways from here. Of course my luck would be I get back in a bit deeper and then we have the rest of this correction(as some have called for) or we indeed start the '3' that the biggest bears are still calling for.

Looks to me we are in melt up mode. How far I have no idea and alas I feel I have royally f'd up again. Since 2009 I have not made back the losses b/c I refused to believe that the market would continue up that far. Obviously I have been proven VERY wrong. So even with the trades I've made I figure I am 20% from where I would have been had I left everything invested as is for the past 2 years. Pretty dumb on my part. It would have been better to be a blind bull.

Re: Elliott Wave Update ~ 29 March

easier said than done. first they must cool them off. then burying it requires infrastructure. you need a concrete plant(a HUGE one). you need lots of trucks or more likely helicopters to drop it on the facility. This is not Chernobyl. This is 6 reactors. It is a huge facility. It is also near the sea. Once buried I suspect it will still leak large amounts of radiation into the surrounding area and ocean. I think it will take more than a year to get this resolved. This cannot be done in a few weeks or even months.

Re:

I figured it was pretty bad. I feel awful for the folks over there. The government really has no choice but to paint the most optimistic picture possilble. If they have to evacuate Tokyo that'd be like evacuating NYC. They'd be screwed for quite some time. They have already raised the amounts of radiation that folks can be exposed to and I suspect that level may be changed again to make the situation sustainable.

Re: Elliott Wave Update ~ 25 March

This is confusing. 10,000 times what is found inside a nuclear reactor?
