The link you provided is very interesting. I have heard before about them and knew that they were different from mainstream Muslims, but didn't know what was their difference. A very interesting difference by the way.

It is also amazing that this threat to peaceful Muslims hasn't been protested by mainstream Muslims the same way they did with Terry Jones' "burn the Qu'ran" threat. And lastly, it is also amazing that there is NOT an international condemnation of this campaign against peaceful Muslims.

Don't worry, Bob. If saying that Sharia Law is barbaric, is "hate speech", then I think every sound Westerner "hates". Anyway, I don't see much "love" from Taliban, Salafists, Wahabbists and so on, but those guys are above reproach, aren't they?

They normally answer two things as the last commenter in your article has told you:

a) "Torah and Old Testament also have those punishments". Of course, but their application ended centuries ago, and I don't recall of any Western country who has applied stoning for adulteress women for centuries. I don't think that punishments against people from other faiths have been considered also for centuries in most cases (specially those which involved killing the "unbeliever").

b) "just find some Islamic scholar". That's nonsense: you can read and are sufficiently intelligent to understand that if the Qu'ran or the Hadiths say "kill the unbelievers", "a woman has deficient intelligence", or "don't have relations with unbelievers", what those words mean. But there is an important number of Muslims who claim that non-Muslims are unable to speak about the Qu'ran, specially if they are critizising it... :(

Islam is, as a political system, an ideology absolutely updated and barbaric. There are "secular" Muslims who have denounced racism, abuses and violence towards them if they dare to criticize any part of it. But our politicians (normally) continue to fund more the "hard-liners", that is, people who are stuck on the 7th century than those who are supporting a rationalised and updated interpretation of the Qu'ran.

So don't worry: between Islam and Muslims, there is the same different as between Nazism and Germans. But no one supports that criticizing Nazism means, you're "hating Germans", do they?

Of course, Laz. The polemic over burqa/niqab ban fuels other social groups to do the same: call everyone a racist, for instance, if you dare to question any of their mores, even if in the case you mention it's a question of basic security.

I would call them better than "moderate", "secular". For example 1, 2 (both the woman speaking and the blog's author), 3. Of course, probably these guys are considered as freaks by other Muslims and it's also possible that their views would be considered heretical by others.

What is clear is that Islam, as a total system which includes not only religious values but also politics, law, social mores, turns to be absolute, totalitarian. "Power tends to corrupt, absolute power corrupts absolutely: Lord Acton was right but never more right than when speaking about religious power. You just have to see what has happened with the Saudi prince and his servant.

The worst of it all is that MSM don't report these horrible news (just Christian websites) and so, very few people even know this is actually happening. Then there are of course those who think that this is their "culture" and so we can't meddle at all it in, not even to protect the more basic Human Rights.

On the other hand, the Ground Zero mosque is a matter of "concern" to all the MSM wherever you live. People, who would never say a word to condemn Iran (or any other Islamic or Communist dictatorship that persecutes "dissidents" or "oponents"), are giving their (wrong) opinions on the subject.

Yes, they should, mainly because this is the type of enemy we're trying to fight against. Brainwashed and cruel converts of Islam. I just can't imagine how someone who is not cruel can kill beheading. I don't know what part drugs are playing in their behaviour, too.

Yep, of course, taqqiya is another point to consider. So, do you think he is trying to fool the Obama administration while continuying to do the same?

I think that he is really scared of his son being killed, although he hasn't considered the possibility of AQ killing his son for this agreement with "Infidels" in case it is actually signed.

Totalitarian Islam allows no rivals to gain strength, so it's not threatened internally. At the same time they infiltrate and weaken their enemies from the inside.

A magnificent summary of the situation, SirWilhelm. The problem here (I think) is that they are very sure about their ideas, their beliefs and their aims, as this release shows, while on the other side, Western populations don't have anything clear. So the infiltration is really easy for them: there are even Western people who support that approach, whether they actually have these views, or just don't say anything about that because it doesn't affect them directly.

If Islamic countries want to end with honor killings the first thing they should do is raise the punishments. 1 year for such a murder is just a joke.
By the way, Egyptian blogger Abdul Karim Soliman was sentenced to 4 years in prison for insulting Islam and Mubarak. In Egypt.

She was not killed because she was muslim

The adverb "supposedly doesn't tell you something? That's what her family said. But she was killed by a man with a mental disorder who supported the Nazi ideology. Islamic communities on the other hand never protest against honor killings or other brutalities supported by imams or Islamic holy texts (such as cliterydectomy, flogging, maiming, etc.).
So, why so much noise about one death (sad, but the rest are also as sad as this was), but no word, no criticism about murders committed in the name of Islam?

Sorry for not answering you before, I have been truly busy.

First, about the Islamic countries not supporting Global Caliphate, as you will understand I consider more trustful a book written by an expert than someone who is just writing on the internet as a hobby and who was "reverted" to islam, so he wants to speak only what's good about it.

Secondly, well, about "the" royal family, that's something which can only be a very tiny incorrection, specially considering that he is of one of those royal families. That only points out that he is used to do what he wants thanks to petrodollars.

Thirdly, maybe this was an MSM priority in other parts of the world but it was not in Europe. Next time, I will search only news which have not been heard of in Morocco. Of course, with the hard censorship Mohammed has, it's perfectly probable that you only hear how good Moroccan ruler is, without mentioning the blatant abuses of Human Rights he does on a daily basis. But hey, speaking about this... that's gossiping!!

Forthly, about "gossip" thing, hahahaha, that's one of the most blatant stupidities I have read in all my time on the internet. Do you really, seriously believe that torturing someone is gossiping? For me, gossiping is to speak about who marries someone or who is about to have a baby, but certainly not about this kind of videos.

Lastly, of course, you're free (even if Islam means "submission to Allah", I believe you're free) not to believe this excerpt from the link in Wikipedia above:

So, with all due respect for your answer, you did a good work, but clearly don't suceed in freeing this man from the obvious reality. He did it: he wanted to cause the most damage. And he charged some police officers with tying the victim before torturing.
Honest and factual, of course, but even with facts that you don't like?
