I can hear the screaming in your head, "The sky is falling, the sky is falling". You are the epitome of a paranoid, propagandized education and must be scared you might have to really work. Be a good American and support your country.

Re: Texas Governor Rick Perry’s lawyers invoke Louis XIV to dismiss charges

HaHa!! You haven't lived long enough or hard enough to lecture me, smart boy. You live with your rear wiped everyday by this society and culture and wouldn't know what to do otherwise. When the enemies of our culture come knocking on your door I'm sure we can depend on the pot smokers and alcoholics to rise up and defend this culture, you poor excuse for a human. Your wrecked and wretched soul is the side effect and the drugs hide it insidiously so you'll never know.

Re: APD Alerts Public to Synthetic Marijuana Threat

Synthetic marijuana is being distributed by proponents of "natural" marijuana for the purpose of scaring the public into believing pot should be legalized. Although pot is a psycho-active drug considered suitable for all types of ailments and diseases no institution has yet to reveal or advertise the "fine print" of side effects. That is being suppressed to convince average people pot is a good thing. Watch pot users, live with pot users and the "side effects" become evident. I call them intelligent idiots.

Re: Scientology: Will Tom Cruise, Elisabeth Moss be forced to wed? I do not call that peaceful and loving. I call that and much of Austin culture living in a drunken stupor and ignoring the law and good sense.

Re: The Ur-Debate Over Health Care

News excerpt:

The Sept. 26 letter from my mother's insurer promised that the more
expensive plan "conforms with the new health care law"—by covering
maternity needs, newborn wellness and pediatric dental care. My mother
asked: "Do I need maternity care at 52?" In addition to requiring her to
pay an extra $1,677 annually, the plan would have increased her
deductible by $1,500.

More the point of the original comment for those who get excited about what I didn't say. Choice and cost.

Re: The Ur-Debate Over Health Care

Few words, few thoughts.

Re: The Ur-Debate Over Health Care

Oh, I see, pardon me, and the ACA is so effective and working so well under the current regime? You should review the financial news on the Healthcare industry before make you're ignorant remarks.

Re: The Ur-Debate Over Health Care

You're FOS. Anyone can be simple-minded and little. I only discriminate between those that express thoughtfulness, compassion, and intelligence and those that do not. As an example, you read something into what I said through a pinhole filter which is typical of your gender bias.

Re: The Ur-Debate Over Health Care

Boy, if ever I've seen a barrel of aberrated thinking based on a few principles it is this article. I don't mind the government ensuring that everyone has healthcare, to be sure, it is beneficial for all to have good, available healthcare. What I do not like about ACA is that is not affordable, and will not be affordable. This is for a few reasons but the foremost, for me, is I am now forced to pay for every conceivable type of healthcare, most of which I do not want or need. This is central to the concept of choice and independence. You want the choice to have an abortion, fine, I want the choice to determine which healthcare is best for me. My other favorite reason relates to the providers, i.e. large healthcare corporations. Had anyone noticed the consolidation of providers? United Healthcare (AARP) went on a buying spree of smaller providers. Does that tell you something? Profits galore! Notice the CEO of AARP was best buddy to Omama and pro-ACA. Now you have greedy shareholders waiting for ACA to bring on the bucks, all with the enforcement of a biased, one-sided political party. Sure, we have unlimited funds so all can share, especially when we only need to borrow and print, or vice versa. What a simple-minded ignorant little girl.

Re: Being a Boss Makes You Less Empathetic, Science Explains

empathy only means you let your employees walk all over you.

Re: Active-military suicides almost 1 a day in U.S.; in Connecticut, active, non-active toll reaches 1 a week

War used to be good. You would fight until you won like every war the USA has been in up until the Korean War. Soldiers in the military today do not fight to win, their orders are simply to police and maintain the status quo. I was spit on when I came back, couldn't keep a job, blah-blah, most of my life was trying to feel I had some worth. I understand, but today these vets come back to a very weird reality and are seperated from their comrades who know what they've gone through. The seperation from society happened the day they deployed. They need their government and community to simply listen to their horror without judgment, without bias, and without drugs. BTW, no one can 'take' your humanity away, it becomes the opposite.

Re: THE NEWS TRIBUNE: Man charged with growing marijuana underground in South Prairie area - Bonney Lake-Sumner Courier-Herald

This is how to keep your neighborhood clean and safe.
