Fan-fricking-tastic. I heard the news sitting on a pier in Thailand, waiting for a ferry to cross onto Ko Samet and watching the tv with the Thai staff. They seem pretty happy about it here too.

Holy shit! I think I MIGHT just get an ipod... not from there though, apparently the 120GB are 399 at JB HIFI (Will got his from Thailand at a discounted price to the official Apple store, but it was still more expensive than $399... was very upset)

It sucks that you feel that way. I have the biggest respect for people who uproot themselves and move to a completely different country. A few of my friends have done it and they all say it's incredibly rough - especially the first six months. You should be so proud of what you've done. And there is no shame in going home.

I'm also a first-stall user. I figure that those of us who know this little secret are intelligent, considerate individuals and therefore I don't worry as much.

Failing that, it's lining the seat with screeds of toilet paper. I have no shame in singlehandedly depleting the workplace toilet paper stock if it means my bum is clean.

Oversharing, yes, but that's what the internet is for right?

There's plenty of film around actually - Ebay or your local equivalent, local Polaroid distributors, Polapremium.com. It does come at a premium though - it's pretty expensive.

Check out the Flickr Polaroid groups for more information. The people on there are pretty knowledgeable about Polaroid. You'll find a lot of (well-directed) bitching about the Polaroid corporation which is pretty interesting - they really drove that company to the ground. And now it makes shitty arse digital cameras because it jumped on the digital bandwagon too late, so the Polaroid name is a joke!

I do this as well, even when shopping for birthday presents. Also, whenever I go clothes shopping I somehow end up with books - always on sale, but that's no excuse. It's a sickness, I tell you.
